FD with deluxe room at WL?

I have been told that discounts do not apply to suites and the deluxe room at the WL is considered to be a suite, but would a FD offer apply?

The current GP offer for 04/13-06/14 actually does include suites. The discount is only 5% though. Availability in some of the deluxe resort suites is harder to find than you may think though. Sometimes the Deluxe Room CL at WL does show up with FD. I've gotten the Deluxe Room at BW as a CM before. It all depends on availability when the resorts decide which rooms will participate.

In the 8 years that Free Dining has been around, you have never been able to apply a FD discount to any of the suites or to the Deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge, that sleeps 6.

The only exception to this rule is that in 2008 they started allowing the All-Star Family suites to be booked under a free dining discount. Though they are called "suites" they are classified, appropriately, as value rooms.

I've never been able to add FD or a pincode to the WL DLX rooms... my guess is they have no problem filling them at rack-rate.

However, the DLX rooms at BWI are usually available under discounts.
