Faxing in Sept Event Form

I arrived early at my office to try and fax in my registration form for the Sept. Pin Celebration. So far, fax as not gone thru and it is just short of being an hour later. I also e-mailed with all the pertinent information, but I am not comfortable that this will do the same thing. Tried to call the phone number, and as I anticipated it is ringing busy. So, guess I spend the day wondering if it is was received or not.

Anyone else finding this to be the same situation?

We both faxed our registration and e-mailed it.

At 8:27 got an e-mail back from them saying:

Thank You

We will enter this today.

So we believe we are in.

It was a response to our e-mail and not the Fax.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I checked, and I too received the e-mail. Yeah, now I can get to work. Do you really think that the e-mail means we are officially registered?

Now that I have heard back from them, I can let the poorfax machine take a breather.

I just called and was told they are putting them together and to call back this afternoon or tomorrow. They will be putting them in order they were recieved by the time code on the top of the fax.

According to Event Services is you receive an e-mail that says:

"Thank you. We will enter this today."

That means that you are in.

Tap and Dap, not questioning you, just happy to hear that is what it means. So, you actually talked to someone? I gave up trying to call, and I did get 4 faxes that did not go thru, you know, got the old error code. So I am really glad I did the e-mail thing.

I sent my registration in at 8:26 via e-mail, and the fax went in at 9:30. I have not received any confirmation yet but have spoken to others that got their confirmation within 10 minutes of their e-mail.
It is almost 10 am and nothing yet. I am getting nervous.... Peggie

We've been faxing since 8am this morning and it's still trying to go thru. Just e-mailed and we called and they said they will confirm by e-mail... Hope we get in.... getting worried..

it's been 2 hours and stilll trying to fax.

I was out early today trying to fax also, but no luck. Disney can have 7 dwarves and 101 dalmatians but only one fax machine???

Just sent registration for me and Lauri via e-mail. I just hope I didn't wait too long before coming home to do it.

yes we spoke to a real live person and she said not to worry if you get email confirmation you are in.....

so we shall see

Obi-Wan, will keep fingers crossed for you and will send some pixie dust, too. Seems like the e-mail was the best way for this registration. I could have done that e-mail from home and not gotten to work extra early to try and get to a fax machine.

I'm not sure if e-mail is the best way..It's been 45 minutes and still not e-mail confirming.

My fax finally went through about 10 minutes ago.

Hope we are in...

My husband tried to fax 6 times until it went through, right after 8 a.m. I just called to verify they received it, and Joyce said I was in.

I decided to cover all the bases and just got back from faxing it. I called Event services and my name hasn't been entered into the system yet. I did ask about possible duplication and they said the are alphabetizing all the names as they're entered and are comparing the names and addresses.

Now to leave the computer on and listen for it to annouce "you've got mail."

I'm not even sure I can go yet, but I did fax something in. However, it's 11:00 a.m. (just faxed) so I suppose I will be too late after reading the comments here.

I tried for 1.5 hrs to fax and had no luck I can't stand around the fax machine all day checking to see if it went out. I ended up sending the info e-mail but could not get the form to go along with it so I hope it goes through. Wonder if I should try faxing again and mark it as a duplicate so they have the signature for the payment.

I e-mailed mine this morning at 8:10 am, with the form attached (Thanks Robyn for teaching me!), and have received the e-mail back citing it was received, and it will be entered today.

Hello,
I just copied and pasted the form on e-mail this morning. Filled it out and sent it at 8:05AM. I did not include CC # as I did not feel that was secure to do. I got confirmation e-mail at 9:59 AM. I also called to be sure and to give them my credit card #. They said hubby and I are registered. Now if the Navy will cooperate. He is supposed to drill weekend on the same weekend. So I may have to do what I did for princess ball. We'll see.
