Does everyone take an image of the back of the cards, or manually enter in the gift card numbers? I'm assuming you must also key in the security codes as well? Do you just fax this info or do you call and verify first? Just looking for a little guidance from someone who has done it. Thanks in advance!

I manually entered the numbers in a big long list. I don't remember if I needed to enter the security code-i don't think I did, but not sure.

I had called to get the fax # and verify what I needed to send. The CM suggested calling back a couple days later to make they got the fax OK. But I saw the dues were paid in my account and didn't bother.

You can call Member Accounting and do it over the phone. They don't ask for the security number, just the card number for each GC. The most I've ever done over the phone is 12 cards. I just call them every few days and do a batch of 10 or so. It would probably be easier to just fax all the numbers to them....

I had 16 gift cards and was unsure what to do. I called MS & had a very patient CM who let me read them all off. I offered to fax them but she said it wasn't necessary.

She asked me to read 4 cards in groups, then she'd process those before asking for more.

FYI- I had about 50 cards to process. Probably less time for me to type and fax than it would have been with accounting on the phone.

I called with 12 gift cards. I should have faxed it but she said to just read her the numbers.
One was a problem because she kept transposing a number and another card said confirmed but then she said it stated error message.
Needless to say, my gift card was emptied but it didn't take it off my balance. She tried to get it straightened out but couldn't.
Took 2 days and a supervisor to straighten out.
Not sure if faxing would have helped but I wouldn't have spent so much time on the phone.
