Favourite Ship and why?

So far, I like the Fantasy/Dream more than the Wonder. I'll be honest, the Wonder just felt old...also, I didn't love Alaska as much as I hoped. We're doing the Magic in May, so maybe that will change my mind.

Have sailed all 5 (including MV of the Wish). Actually, like them all, however, if I had to rank them, it would be:

1) Magic - something about it. So easy to deal with, staff amazing, and food was great on our Greek Isles cruise this past summer (and a plus for the shawarma station!). Also, I like the Aquadunk…. Like After Hours and D Lounge setup as well.

2) Fantasy - we really like the Fantasy too. Much improved Satellite Falls area.

3) Wonder - don’t know why, but we’ve all liked the Magic just a bit more.

4) Dream - probably just because of the itineraries. Also, the Satellite Falls here was a retrofit.

5). Wish - I liked the Wish OK, especially the new Festival of Foods additions. Just prefer the classics more…

Dream>Fantasy>Magic

With school age kids I feel the Dream and Fantasy are better, at least for us. They love doing the midship detective agency. They love the Aquaduck, well ok we all do. We like the size and overall feel better. We love the slides on the Magic but feel the food was subpar in every way…pool deck, MDR, Palo. Except for the Mickey churro waffles, which we’ve only ever had on the Magic in Cabanas. I’d almost go on the Magic again just for those.😋 I know people like the cozier feel on the smaller ships but we felt cramped and disappointed every time we walked through the atrium. I have zero interest in going on the Wonder and don’t plan to. It doesn’t sail from my preferred ports or go to my preferred destinations, plus without an Aquaduck or Aquadunk, my kids want nothing to do with it!

We like the Fantasy the best. We love how much there is to do, the spaces are so beautiful, love the adult areas on it. I remember being blown away by Europa the first time I saw it. Also like the pool area and slide on it. But, we still absolutely love the classic ships, too. Especially Animator's Palate. That's probably my only disappointment on the larger ships.

Wonder: our favorite. Adult-only areas are perfect for us, Tianna's, the shows, the size, the multiple portholes you can sit in and their location, and its itineraries.
Magic: very similar, except I don't like Tangled.
Fantasy: we didn't expect to like her because we're not very fond of the Dream, but as cruising started back up after Covid, we got a great deal on a 3-night cruise so we tried her and very much enjoyed her! A little too big, like the Dream, but a much better adults-only atmosphere, though we miss the adults-only pool (the smaller ships have a larger pool). We're going on a 7-night on the Fantasy next month and I'm looking forward to seeing if she is indeed as awesome as she appeared on our short 3-night. If so, she might jump to #2.

I've been on the first 4 ships multiple times each. The original Wonder is my favorite for nostalgic reasons. We haven't been on it since the latest updates (Tiana's, the adult area...) so I can't say the Wonder is currently my favorite. I've only been on the Magic twice, (again not since 2012) so that really doesn't rank up there for me.

To me, the Dream and the Fantasy are equal since the Dream got Satellite Falls. I love them both! Europa maybe has an edge over the District so I'd lean to the Fantasy but I wouldn't choose one based on that.
