OK, so we've had favourite tipples so what about food? What do you have at Christmas that you love and don't generally eat any other time of the year?

For me, it's turkey - and sausages wrapped in bacon - we only ever eat these on Christmas day. Also, After Eight mints. I absolutely love them but we only have them at Christmas. Usually get a couple of boxes, though, so they last until...Boxing Day :rotfl:

I really like all the nibbles that are around this time of year. Also have spiced beef ham fried on Christmas Eve ~ yummy!!!

Where do I start :rotfl:

Rib N Saucy Crisps (sainsburys only do them at christmas)
Pigs in blankets
sausage rolls
profiteroles (dont know why I only eat these at christmas)
After eights

Im sure there are more but I cant think of any more at the moment :)

Turkey with cranberry sauce, the stuffing balls and pigs in blankets. I also love Christmas night tea when we have crackers with loads of cheeses with pickles and the leftovers. Selection box chocolates too :)

Turkey, Brussels sprouts, Christmas Pudding and all the M&S Party foods I buy for Christmas and Boxing Day nights.

:teeth: Walkers Sensations Peanuts - hickory flavour shell!

DH has just informed me that he's seen them this year - shame I can't drive to the shops yet. I'll have to sweet talk him!

I also love tradition turkey and trimmings (minus sprouts!)

I Love Christmas food (somehow I don't think you're surprised). I love the Turkey, cranberry sauce, mash, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, sprouts and more sprouts (I tend to sit by myself after dinner :rotfl: ) I also like Christmas pudding with brandy sauce all followed by a large tin of Celebrations :)

We must be the only ones who love sprouts - I can't get enough of them - even like them cold!

oh and TRIFLE!

last year me and bethuk made a Jamie Oliver recipie... yum yum yum! it was really "old school" trifle... with two layers of jelly... mandarin segments, rasberries, cheap sponge, blamanche, angel delight, whipped cream and covered in hundreds and thousands and chocolate flakes!

Sausage rolls and mince pies :)

I also enjoy the turkey soup I make with the left over turkey after Christmas Day :)

But not THIS Year -

Every Xmas morning the first thing my wife eats is a box of Thorntons cappuccino chocolates that she always gets as a present. When you consider that it is normally 6.00am when our dd wakes us up it's not the healthiest star to the day but traditions must be maintained.

I look forward to marks and spencers marmalade with whisky in it (this is not just marmalade HA HA).We always have it on xmas day for breakfast.
