We will be going to Yak & Yeti for the first time next trip, and I was hoping you might share what you liked best, and even what you didn't like!

I've had the steak and shrimp. Seriously good. I've also had the fish with the peanut sauce (?). The fish was ok, but the sauce was good. Don't forget the green beans! Worth paying oop.

I loved the lettuce cups for the appetizer, they were delish! I had steak and shrimp and it was very good! Best of all-not to be missed-FRIED WONTONS! Oh.....my......gosh!!!! Save room for dessert, you don't want to miss it!

Thanks for the quick replies! We will be on the Dining Plan (the regular 1 table, 1 counter, 1 snack), can you get the steak and shrimp on that?
What are these green beans all about? I love green beans, are they an appetizer? Are those wontons a dessert item?

We ate at Yak & Yeti for the first time last year. We had the honey chicken and the mahi mahi. Both entrees were really good. As OP has said save room for the fried wonton desert the best desert in Disney.

I had the salmon at Yak & Yeti earlier this month. It was SO good! I am a big salmon fan and was very pleased with my meal.

Also, the brownie sundae for 2 is TDF!! There is whipped cream on the top that I could have easily eaten a bowl of. I was stuffed but, easily found room to share it with my husband!

We made an ADR for there for our trip in August. We are really looking forward to it. Our waiter was awesome and everyone was very friendly.

Ate here on our last trip and loved it. Not normally my type of food, but we tried it for my hubby who loves this stuff. Really liked the atmosphere and it wasn't very busy so the noise level was perfect. I had the sweet and sour chicken and had them put the sauce on the side since I wasn't sure if I would like it. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was great. My hubby had just got back from Iraq and her boyfriend was coming back in a few weeks so we talked about that and we mentioned that it was our anniversary. She said they didn't normally do anything for that, but she ended talking to her manager and us and the kids received free dessert. It was just a fantastic experience!! We definitely want to take my parents there on our next trip.

The fried green beans are an appetizer, and they were great. My mom ordered them and only got to eat a few because her grandkids kept raiding her plate. We also really liked the mussels (appetizer) and the mango pie. Somehow we missed the fried wontons....

The salad was excellent. The dressing was sweet but not overpowering. DH and DM loved the chicken lo mein. DD enjoyed the Beef and broccoli. I had the tempura shrimp and loved it

Do the kids have to get just ice-cream for dessert? I'm on the dining plan, would me and my son be able to share the Brownie dessert for 2? or is that just for adults? as i'm sure my husband will want to try the fried wontons..

The fried green beans are the best...if you're on the dining plan you have to pay out of pocket for them but they are definitely worth it!
We had the honey chicken and instead of beef with broccoli we asked for chicken and broccoli and both were very good.
The fried wontons and mango pie for dessert were amazing! Enjoy!!

I am not sure if you can get the brownie for 2 on the dining plan, maybe someone else can answer that. But, I know my son and I would do just fine sharing it in between the two of us!

Steak and Shrimp was good- but the Mango Pie was WONDERFUL. but you have to like mango flavored stuff

I had the duck and DH had the steak and shrimp. Both were good. But we are going back on our next trip so I can get the fried wontons again. Best dessert I had on our last vacation. I can't wait to have them again.

i had the salmon and it was really good also the flank steak was good too. it is a restruant you must try
