:cloud9: Hey all,

We'll be going in January, and another post about Boma's squash soup has me wondering.

What soups/stews/hot stuffs served in a bowl are really tasty when dining in WDW?

I'm really curious about the Boma soup, but don't think we'll be able to trek to AKL this trip. Do they serve a squash soup anywhere else?

Unfortunately, I'm allergic to the clam chowder in bread bowls, but other suggestions are welcome.

It can often be chilly and misty there in January, and nice bowl of warm comfort could be great.

So what soups should we try?

I've always liked the lobster bisque at the Coral Reef. Enjoy!

Chedder Cheese soup at Le Cellier

Chicken Noodle at Beaches and Cream

too many to mention at Boma

It was a long time ago (1998), but I had the Butternut Squash Soup at Wolfgang Puck's Express. It was super yummy!

cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier
chicken noodle soup at Beaches & Cream
and...
my newest favorite... shrimp noodle bowl with broth at Tomorrowland Noodle Station

The mushroom soup at 1900 Park Fare & not really a soup but the potstickers in broth at Chakrandi Chicken Shop in AK.

We love the smoked portobello mushroom soup at Artist's Point in the Wilderness Lodge.

Chedder Cheese soup @ Epcot w pretzel bread. I could live on that for the rest of my lifetime!!

Alright, maybe this is a strange question, but...
I am a vegetarian. Can I get the Cheddar Cheese soup without bacon on top, or is the bacon already mixed in? Other than the bacon, is it vegetarian, or is it made with beef broth? I really want to try this soup I have heard so much about! Thanks.

I don't know how often they have it, but I had a cream of mushroom soup at Sunshine Seasons last July that was amazing.

The only soup I've had at Disney was Cheese soup at Le Cellier and it was good. Stitch1404, I don't know any of the answers to your questions :confused3 sorry.

I agree! Second choice would be at Rose and Crown. I think it's lamb/barley soup. Alas, I used to love the vegetable soup at Pure and Simple, but that place's no more!

Here is the recipe from Deb Will's site. It sounds like it isn't just on top.

I've had it twice, and I can't really remember because I wasn't concerned about it, so I didn't notice. But I would have to guess that it was already in the soup.

I fell in love with the Lamb and Lentil Soup at Marrakesh. Close second was the Potato Leek Soup at the Rose & Crown. I'm not a big soup person so it really has to be good for me to rave about it. Have a great time! :goodvibes

On Thanksgiving Day, the Cream of Squash/Pumpkin soup served with nutmeg sweetened whip cream. Tastes just like pumpkin pie filling. In the summertime, the cold Cream of Strawberry soup at Grand Floridian Park Faire with whip cream. Both are out-of-this world!

Two tied for my favorites: the Chicken Pepper Pot at Mara, and the Chicken Corn Chowder at Boma. All the soups at Boma are very good.
