I'm sure I'm going to miss at least one or two of the best versions, but since there are only 12 options on a poll, I'll list the ones that seem to be the most popular (along with an "other" option).
So which is you're favorite version of all-time?

I haven't seen the newest one yet, so for now at least, my favorite is the Muppets Christmas Carol. Great music, great acting, great characters, etc... It's hard to beat it.
My second (and almost my first) is the Patrick Stewart version. He is such a great actor, and does an amazing job with this role.

So what's your favorite?

It was a tough decision between the Muppets and Mickey but I chose the Muppets.

To be honest, the Christmas Carol movies kind of scare me. For some reason, ever since I was little, I've been super freaked out by the ghosts. I feel silly being scared of a Christmas movie!!

Mickey's Christmas Carol all the way!

I haven't seen the new one yet but I will when we get closer to Christmas. It wouldn't seem right to me to see it this far out.

While I like many of these (I own the Mr. Magoo, because DW bought it for me after I'd been raving about it for most of my life), I like the George C. Scott version the most. This is because the writer, Roger O. Hirson (who wrote the book for the musical Pippin, which I didn't care for), added a scene with Scrooge in a counting house, which explained Scrooge for a modern audience like nothing I've seen before.

I love The Christmas Carol.....and own most of them, but the Alistair Simm one is still my favorite.
I will be buying the new Disney version when it comes out ::yes::
Need a copy of Ebbie (the Susan Lucci one)

The Ebbie was just on ABC Family the other day, You might be able to go to there website and download onto your computer

I like any version there is and own almost all of them.

There is no better Scrooge than Captain Picard.

Make it so, Spirit #2. :)

I voted Muppets - I love how it's pretty true to the original Dickens yet incorporates that Muppet zany-ness.

Mickey's Christmas Carol by a long shot, followed by Muppets Christmas Carol.

Scrooge McDuck was the best! Everything about that one makes me smile. Every so often at Chrstmas, my sister and I will look at each other and say, "You leave me...no alternative...but to give you..." and the other will shout "TOYS!"

I also adore Scrooged. It's not everybodies cup o' tea, but I find it funny.

George C. Scott was my pick, but a VERY close second was "Scrooged". I loved that movie!!

"Oh look! A TOASTER!!" :lmao:

I adore Mr. Magoo's version! I have such fond memories of sitting in the living room with only the tree lights on watching this. It tops my list. My favorite real life version is the one with Alistair Sim, it gives me goosebumps every time.
