Favorite things to do at Disney during Christmas..........

Do you get the most out of the resorts durning the day or at night. We are going for a long weekend in Dec and every night is plannned at a park. I was going to take my wife to the resorts durning the afternoon but it sounds like it would be more festive at night to see the resorts???

It depends on the resort. The Grand Floridian is nice during the day. But you would want to see the Wilderness Lodge at night. I have only a limited experience. This will be our second trip to WDW during the xmas season.

at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the osbourne lights are our favorite holiday attraction. tens of millions of holiday lights along the streets of america puts even chevy chase to shame!

and although all of the resorts have their own wonderful holiday decorating theme, wilderness lodge is the hands-down winner.....don't miss it.

We haven't been to WDW at XMAS in a few years so I don't know if they still do this, but we loved going to the GF and getting fresh roasted chestnuts from the gentleman outside the lobby, then go into the lobby/lounge, order a cappuccino, eat the nuts and listen to the dixie jazz band playing christmas music. Heaven!! We did this on our honeymoon, anniversary trip and 2 more trips during the holiday season.

Oh, yes, "Let There be Peace on Earth" as the finale of IllumiNations brought tears to my eyes!
