I was just gifted a new-to-me Sunny spin bike. (Previous owner bought it during lockdown and doesn't need it anymore as they are out and about again.) It doesn't have a computer screen or cadence, just a dial for resistance. Amazon reviewers say I can get cadence & speed gadgets to be able to use it with the Peloton app.

Right now, I need some cycling workouts to get me started. I do a lot of powerwalking around the city and can do a 20 minute powerwalk on a treadmill.

Anyone have great Peloton trainers you can recommend? I will be using this on my tablet and likely mirroring it onto my Smart TV. Thanks! :flower3:

I updated my post above. I tried doing a ride to a scenic background of Sedona, AZ. Even though I've been there a few times, all that program did was put me to sleep. 😴

After 3 minutes, I switch to the introductory workout that's for the bike owners. She was wonderfully gentle and calm, but that actually made the workout harder! Harder meaning, I think having a trainer/coach who didn't have a strong, upbeat, energizing personality and some great music to focus on to push past the tougher sections actually made the ride rather grueling.

I realized I need great, energizing music and a really upbeat personality to PUSH me. I'm also getting a cadence monitor right away so I can do the Peloton beginner classes.

Besides Cody Rigsby, are there any other trainers you guys recommend?
