Favorite souveneir for under 10 bucks?

On our last two trips, we've stopped in at Japan in Epcot and chosen some of the beautiful pottery dishes. These are quite inexpensive (especially the smaller ones) and there's an amazing variety. I have a set of two with an abstract design in copper and blue colours, that we use for salsa or dips, and two shallow ones that are white with a design of painted rabbits on them that we use for flavoured olive oil (to dip bread in). They look great and we use them almost every day, and it always reminds me of the fun we had choosing them. I hope to get more when we go back this December.

I collect shot glasses so those are some of my faves!!

DH bought me a charm bracelet at Disney on our anniversary trip in May, we get the charms at World of Disney, so those have become my favorites!!!

I collect shot glasses as well and get so many good ones at WDW, especially Epcot. They're cool souveneirs ranging from between $3-8 - can't beat that. Make for nice little gifts too.

Pens are a must. I use my Eeyore pen at work everyday and it just brings back great memories and puts a smile on my face.
And antenna toppers of course.

I also purchase the resorts refillable mug each time. It goes to work with me everyday. I know it is a little more than $10, but I get so much use out of it, that I think it is well worth the money.

Mickey's head ice cube trays and the Mickey wine bottle stopper. Simple, classy, doesn't scream Disney & brings a smile to guests' faces who notice. Maps of parks. Keychain for Christmas tree.

Maps!! They are free! I use them to decorate my room! And you can always pull them out and open them up and feel like you're there again!:goodvibes

I'm all for the souvenirs that you help create....autograph books, travel journals, passports, photos.

One of our favorite things to do is to buy one Disney postcard, per person, every day we're there. [There are generally two of us, but this could work for a larger family.] We'll write a postcard to each other while we're in the parks--usually while we're eating lunch or dinner, having a snack, or waiting for a parade. We don't show the postcard to the other person, so what the postcard looks like and what we say about our vacation is a surprise. Generally, though, the postcard has enough room for use to write about that small special something that happened during that day. We mail it out that day and when we get home we have this record of the little things.... [Be sure to date the postcard, as they sometimes arrive out of order!]

For everyday magic, I like the idea of coffee mugs and magnets.

I have so many for under $10:

*The mickey freezable ice cubes (they are little plastic mickey heads that you can freeze and reuse) were $8 and come in a bag to keep them in. I use them alot!

*Bracelets in China that you slip over your wrist. They are thin and have all of these beautiful colors and flower designs on them. I think they're $3 each.

*Sushi bowls/plates from the Japan pavilion. They have tons of different designs. I get the little bowls (I'm assuming used to dip sushi into soy or other sauces) and use them to put my jewelry in at night. I even used them for dinner one night and put kethcup and other sauces in them. If I remember correctly it was about $4-7 for one little bowl.

*Bath Bombs from Basin in DTD. $3-4 for one and so relaxing to toss one in with a bath!

*Pens with the year on them. I get one every trip so when I'm using them at work I look at them and smile and think back to that specific trip. :wizard:

*Candies/chocolate from around the world. I didn't know what to get my DBF's parents from our trip last year so I decided to get a bunch of different candies/chocolates from around WS at Epcot and put them into something. The candy was relatively cheap (although I remember in Germany there was something small and chocolate covered that was $2.95).

Postcards!!! I always buy more than just postcards, but they are my favorite souvenier under $10.00. I could buy a bunch for under $10. I collect postcard from all over the world...have some from Egypt, Greece, London, France, Portugal, Italy, Spain, some island off the coast of Greece, Columbia and some other foreign countries and most of the states..I still need some states though. So if any of you feel like dropping me a postcard (from wherever you go) I would LOVE it!

I've picked up some great ideas! I will have to stop in China for the bowls! For under $10 we always go to the Mickey Mart in DTD and get 5 things for $10. Last yr. we got a disney car visor, a very nice 4x6 frame w/the castle around it. Some really cool things. We always get a magnet, scrapbook stickers, postcards, mickey ears,(we collect) a pair of earrings. It catches our eye if it is $10!!!
