Oh I love the Zuppa Tuscanna at olive garden.
I've made a pretty good clone of it at home too

Brunswick stew.... there must be as many recipes at there are place/people who make it. to me a good one is made out of a little of all the BBQ meats a restaurant serves, corn, water, BBQ sauce, vinegar chopped tomatoes and chopped onion. No peas potatoes or lima beans for me. I like okra but never had it in a good Brunswick stew

I posted the first recipe I found....there were about a million of them :confused3 There are always lima beans in the ones here but not okra. Or at least I don't think so. It's good is all I know :thumbsup2

I've had one somewhere that had potatoes and lima beans. It was too much like a veggie soup to me. It was weak on the smokey BBQ meat & BBQ sauce flavor. The best is from a little hole in the wall about 10 miles from me. They used to have saw dust on the floor but stopped yrs ago when the health dept regulations changed.

What I made for dinner yesterday, potato.

I also prefer homemade to can soup.

a warm crock of onion soup would go great about now.. this 47 degree stuff after being in Disney all weekend is for the birds.. :cold:

Ya know, I actually forgot to include 2 of my favorites ( though there wasn't room anyway )..... tomato basil soup, and HOMEMADE cream of mushroom.

Really my ALL TIME favorite is Oyster Stew, but that, I guess, is not a soup or chowder.

Another vote for corn chowder. Love it.

Thank You RED SOX for a great year:cheer2: :cheer2:

Love the Corn Chowder from Tusker House. I would give anything for the recipe. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be amble to get it? When we were there in July I checked every cookbook I could find at WDW and none had the recipe. I wonder if I wrote to them if they would give it to me. It really is my favorite thing next to the Dole Whip (of course :thumbsup2 ) in all of WDW.

New England clam chowder! I don't quite care for Manhatten clam chowder. Some of the others I like, too. But I just love New England chowder! Mmmmm...

Wedding soup when made well is like heaven in a bowl. :)

Avgolemono is my fav.

Am I the only person that DESPISES clam chowder?? Either variety really, but just thinking about NE is making me ill.
