Okay guys, I'm planning a scavenger hunt for my BFF and DBF this fall (for a complete list, you can check out my PTR - see the link below). Part of the rules of the hunt is that I have to include 1 snack food for each park. I've got EP and MK covered, but could use a little help with AK and DHS.

So, what are the BEST snacks from those 2 parks?!?! :confused3

TIA!

P.S. - we have DDP

At HS, you must go to Starring Rolls Cafe. At AK, Dino Bites Snacks or Kusafiri Coffee Shop

The butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls at DHS! I haven't had it yet...but I've seen pictures...I sure won't be missing out this time!

Do you prefer sweet or savory snacks? A couple of ideas for AK would be a frozen lemonade slushie from the slush cart in Asia, an Old Fashioned Hot Fudge Sundae from Dino-bite Snacks, or egg rolls or fried rice from Anandupur.

Just curious, what did you pick from the other two parks? My guess would have to be Dole Whip from MK and either Sweet Pretzel, School bread, or Kaki Gori from Epcot. Am I right? :yay:

Starring Rolls is the pastry star at MGM, I mean DHS. But you could also send him to the candy counter in the villains store just around the corner from Starring Rolls. You could have a problem with Starring Rolls in that they run out of the item by the time you're there (and I thought they closed early) - it's not endless. The villains candy coutner has fudge, chocolate covered stuff (pretzels, etc) - kind of like the confectionery at MK.

I had the BF cupcake from Starring Rolls last trip. It was good. But it was a little hard to eat (used a fork - would be all over you by hand) and it seemed like it was missing something. The BF was just dusted on the mountain of icing - I think it would be better if they had the dusst or small pieces all through the icing mountain.

I have never been one to seek out the snacks before but after reading this site I can tell you what I am definitely going to try during our trip. Cupcake from starring rolls, either the butterfinger or chocolate peanut butter cup one. I will be making a trip to the bakery in france and the bakery on main street for one of those homeade ice cream sandwiches.

DING! DING! DING! on the Dole Whip... it's a unique snack and a must try. I'm going for the kaki-gori at EP.

Thanks for the feedback on the cupcake... the messy factor may be perfect! What a fun item to maybe create a Lady and the Tramp moment for the two of them!

I like the jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel and the candied pecans at AK. I don't remember where the carts were located, sorry.

AK - Frozen Chai Latte or some sort of tea from the Anandapur Tea Cart

DHS - Carrot Cake Cookie from The Writer's Stop or one of the insane cupcakes at Starring Rolls.

It's not on the dining plan, but my favorite snack at AK is the Frozen Chai.

My favorite snack at DHS is the chocolate croissant from Starring Rolls.

You guys are starting to make me drool! Whatever will I chose at Starring Rolls?!?

My DW's favorite at Starring Rolls is the banana split parfait thing:
