What are your favorite restaurants at Disneyland?

We are planning our first trip to DL this spring. Our favorites at DW are California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Liberty Tree Tavern, Canada and Tony’s Town Square.

Looking for feedback on your family’s “must do’s”.

Thanks,
Gailyn

We really enjoyed sitting outside at Carnation Cafe and having lunch.

We had soups and sandwiches and fruit . Everything was so fresh and tasty.

We felt like we could relax and watch the world go by for a while on Main Street.

I love the Riverbelle Terrace for Mickey Mouse Pancakes & the Blue Bayou are pretty good

We really like Carnation Cafe. We prefer lunch/dinner over breakfast. I like the legendary loaded baked potato soup. Oscar's chef salad is also very tasty. DH and DS11 like the meatloaf, and DH also likes the pot pies. DS9 often goes for the turkey sandwich and fruit. Very nice too being on Main Street. Sometimes we've seen the parade or the Dapper Dans go by.

Not in the parks but in downtown Disney, we really like the Jazz Kitchen. I confess we haven't tried dinner yet but have gone for lunch a couple of times and brunch once. Tasty food. Extra fun too if live performers are present.

Carnation Cafe' on Main Street and Cafe' Orleans in NOS. :thumbsup2popcorn::

We love California Grill, too. Ate there for the first time last December.

At DL, we like Cafe Orleans, but our overall favorite is Napa Rose in the GCH. Steakhouse 55 in the DLH is also great!

If we only have time to do one - which would you recommend, Steakhouse 55 or Napa Rose? :confused3 We are happy with either steak or seafood.

Thanks,

Cafe Orleans. The Monte Cristo sandwich is amazing, although very heavy. We share it and get an order of fries, and sometimes the French onion soup. Don't forget the beignets.

We prefer Napa Rose, but it has a more varied and eclectic menu. If you want a great steak - good and traditional, then the steakhouse is great. If you want something unique but still tasty, I would recommend Napa Rose.

We just ate at Napa Rose (twice, :rotfl:) during our last trip. We loved it!!!!

Hope that helps.

We really love NR, but if you are looking for a slightly less expensive meal, then you will not be disappointed with SH55. If your budget allows, go for NR. DW loves the Signature Pizzetta appetizer pizza and short rib entree. If you're interested in reading them, here are my DIS blogs on Steakhouse 55 and Napa Rose. Food pictures are included in the NR blog, as well as a description of our experiences at each restaurant. Whichever you choose, have a great meal!

I am a huge fan of Cafe Orleans. Great food and great outdoor seating.:thumbsup2

The Dobies love Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe, and Taste Pilots Grill.

Our favorite is La Brea Bakery, in DTD right next to the esplanade. Mimosas for breakfast. . .yummy!
