I'm thinking about trying a signature restaurant on my next trip but I have no idea which one. It doesn't matter where (parks, resorts, etc.) but it would have to be on DDP. Which ones are your favorites and why?

Thanks for your help!

OK hands down....california grill. There is no question. We just arrived home yesterday and we ate there Sunday night. Our last night and I wish we had eaten there earlier and made more reservations. The service was amazing. The food was phenomenal. The view was spectacular. We were there for the fireworks and as many times as I have seen them, there was something special about seeing them from up top the contemporary that brought tears to my eyes.

So, my vote is california grill!! Let us know what you decide

My favorite is Citricos because the food and service are outstanding.
Flying Fish ranks a very very close 2nd.
Jiko would be next.
Then a tie between California Grill and the Brown Derby.
I would recommend any of the above. They were all good. Take a look at the menus and just see which place has the food that most appeals to you.

Narcoossee's was nothing special.

I've eaten at all of the restaurants on your list.

My fav is the California Grill, it's a must do every trip, the Spicy Kazan Roll keeps reeling me back in.

It is not a romantic restaurnant so if you are looking for a good date night rest I would go with Jiko or Artists Point.

All of the restaurants are good save 2, Narcoosees is nothing special, and CRT is signature for the location and characters NOT the food. Of course we eat at CRT every trip but not for the amazing food.

I ate at the Yachtsman and wasn't impressed at all. I've never eaten at any of the others but I've got a few planned out for next trip. Cali grill is one of them can't wait.

V and A is in a class by itself in terms of food, service and ambiance/atmosphere.The others are not even 1/2 the experience.

FF has gone a little downhill over the last couple years.
BD is hit or miss foodwise and service wise.
Artist Point is surprisingly interesting and good, the menu sounds far less interesting that it is.Food and service are top-notch

I have eaten at all on your list except Artist Point We really enjoy Jiko. It is a beautiful restaurant, we had great service and the food was outstanding.
The AKL is also beautiful and worth a visit to see

Out of that list I have been to Narcoossees, Cinderella's, Artist Pointe, and Yachtsman. While I would recommend all except for Cinderella's from a quality of food perspective, my favorite is Narcoosees. I love taking the boat and the setting of the restaurant. We watched the water parade and Wishes when we were there in December and the steak I had was probably the best I have ever had at WDW. Our waiter was wonderful and we had a nice pre dinner cocktail. We were not rushed and it was a great experience. That is why we are going back - we will be there Sunday night! :lovestruc

Narcosee's is wonderfully WDW especially if you eat during the fireworks and watch the Electric Water parade. Must do every trip.

Yachtsman has the best food and service overall. Another must do.

Citrico's has the most interesting menu but not a must. It feels like it could be any big city USA.

BD has the best theme. Love to get a martini and feel the old Hollywood feeling. Love the oyster brie soup and the DH who ate a steak everynight said that was the best of the trip.

CRT is great for a first time or princess buff but not for the food. Before it became a character restaurant they had some wonderful items but the money was in the character's.

Another favorite upscale is Il Mulino but it is not on the dining plan.

My all time favorite is Citricos...the food and service are wonderful each visit

It is beautiful! I haven't eaten at Jiko, but we visited last trip and ate at Sanaa...and the view from Sanna is amazing (I don't know about Jiko but I would assume its similar). :cloud9:

Go, Jiko, go! :)

I guess Cali Grill is next, but it is not what most people think: the food is very good, but it is noisy, hectic, loud, lots of movement, not romantic and the view is only good from the windows or outside on the overlook platform. It is probably the least romantic of the signatures.

Jiko is beautiful, relaxing, much better ambiance, and has great food and service. Jiko is the best meal we've ever had anywhere by far. From start to finish it was perfect.

This, of course, ignoring places like Victoria & Albert's - those are just a class by themselves.
