I am looking to buy a new pair (or 2 so I can switch out) of shoes to wear when I go in January. Specifically wondering about Toms, Keens & Birkenstocks, but I am open to suggestions. Anything but Crocs will be considered.

What is your favorite shoe???

The best shoes I've found for Disneyland are really thick foam flip flops. I try to avoid open shoes at a place like that, but after spending several days walking funny from sore legs after each trip, I've decided is just better to wear something comfy.

Why no open toes? Fear of someone stepping on them?

Thanks. Flip flops I have an abundance of.

I always wear nice comfy tennis shoes. They don't always look the most stylish, but hey my feet aren't screaming at the end of the night either. ;)

I love my Keens! I have the Venice style and they are definitely my most comfortable shoes, especially when I will be on my feet all day. They also keep my feet really cool - I can't stand to have socks on when it is warm. Keens are highly recommended by me :thumbsup2

Fitflops! I wouldn't wear anything else to the parks, I have a pair of their leather tennis shoes too. I used to swear by running shoes and Teva flip flops for the parks but not since I started wearing Fitflops. Seriously supportive and comfortable :)

TOMS TOMS TOMS!!! They are the comfiest shoes Ive ever owned (excluding UGGs). They are so comfy its like wearing slippers all day. And as an added bonus, you know a needy child gets a pair of shoes everytime you buy some. Love them :cheer2:

Last year I wore my Keens every day and they were fabulous! Granted, they made me look like I had boats for feet, but my feet were comfy! I love that they are sandals but my toes are protected. My children and husband have them too--somehow they look ten times cuter on my children than they do on me! I think almost every child in the Pacific Northwest has a pair of Keens.

This year I'm going with my Teva Mary Janes.

I've never had regular crocs, but I do have Croc flip flops, and they are THE BEST. I've traveled everywhere with them, walked for miles, and not a blister! You won't regret getting a pair. I gave a pair to my sister who was going on a roadtrip w/her family, and she said she was so glad she wore them.

I love my keens, my merrels are great too... and I bring a pair of broken-in tennis shoes... I tend to switch them up... keens/merrels for daytime when we are likely to ride Splash or Grizzly... and tennis shoes for at night. Seems the switching off keeps me from feeling too much pain. Usually days 1-3 I am great, but by days 4-6 my body is getting worn out!

I absolutely love my Born sandals. They have the best arch support, are very comfortable, and don't slip when its wet outside (that some flip-flops are prone to do). They are expensive but are well worth the money and last for a very long time. DM has some Born shoes that have lasted over 4 years and are still going strong. I only hope mine will do the same.

I loooove these shoes. I have owned four pairs of these shoes and find them soooooo comfortable and so much cuter than gym shoes. I have high arches and need to use some gel inserts to get the arch support I need, but some of my other family members were a-okay with them as is.
If you get the black shoes, I did have a problem with some bleeding onto my socks the first time I wore this last pair I bought. It hasn't been as issue since that time, but worth knowing

I work 10hrs a day on my feet, so I wear the same tennis shoes that I wear to work, just a basic pair of Nikes...I figure if I can walk all day at work then they will work at Disneyland, plus my feet are already used to wearing them on a daily basis, if I try anything else I ALWAYS have problems, hope it helps....

Thanks to Grumpyskirtgirl for asking the question. I was thinking of getting new sandals myself. My Merrells are on their last legs. ;)

Thanks to all three of your for your opinion of the Keens. Those are at the top of my list. I just wasn't sure. I wear a size 9 and am afraid they are going to make my feet look huge! But if they keep the feet from hurting I guess they are worth it.
