Favorite server on the Magic???

Hi Cindalu,

We will try to find out what Leeroy's last name is when we're on the ship. Hopefully we get him again, if not we will ask what is his last name.

OK...probably a stupid question but here goes...

Does anyone ever make a specific request on a cruise for a server? And a follow-up, does Disney grant dining/seating requests for a specific server? Just wondering whether anyone with an incredible server from a former cruise asks for them again (or if you can make a request for them).

Our server was incredible. I'm sure there are a lot of other great servers out there. Just have never heard whether anyone has ever requested and gotten a specific server (assuming they're still sailing).

My next cruise isn't until Nov 06 and I requested Leeroy so yes you can do it. I simply sent Merrie my Ta from Dreams an email.

I also requested a specific dining rotation since it worked great last May.

Hello. Thanks for trying to find out for me. I wonder if Lisa is still there too. She was his assistant and she was great too.

Maybe you can see if they are both still on the ship.

We had Gemma (her nametag says "Jemma") as our server in Palo for brunch and dinner, and she was excellent. I hope to see her again next summer

Our regular dining room servers were great, too. Toto was our main server, and the assistant server was Opi. Our head waiter was John from Scotland, and he was very good

Just returned from the Christmas Cruise. It was WONDERFUL! Leroy was on vacation this week, too bad! BUT his last name is Fitzroy and yes he's till on the Magic.

Our absolute favorite server team was the team we had on the 14 day eastbound repositioning cruise - Our Server - Ivan from Croatia, Assistant Server Paola from Mexico and Our Head Server - Alen from Croatia were fantastic! We were pampered, well cared for, entertained and miss them all terribly. Not only did we see them at dinner, but frequently saw Alen at lunch or in the halls and he always had a good word. Ivan and Paola always made our day!

I had Paola as well, she was Fobulous!!!!

Another vote for Aleks and Kendell, from Croatia and Trinidad. They were fabulous. Aleks went above and beyond. I broke my foot on the ship and was using a wheelchair ; one night, when one of the kids had fallen asleep at dinner and needed to be carried by my husband, Aleks wheeled me all the way back to the room. On our last night, he sent to Palo for chocolate souffle for both me and my husband. I'd request him again, for sure!

Sachin from India and his assistant Gerry. Very friendly, fast, incredible service! Can't remember the Head Server's name, but he was wonderful too. Talked with us every night.

We had Sachin from India on the 12/17 Magic and Richard from Jamaica for the asst. server. Maclean was the Head Server. We enjoyed all of them very much.

On the Oct 23 05 Wonder, we hade Herrman from Indonesia and GG from France. They were very efficient and were ready to meet our every need. We thoroughly enjoyed their service. We would definately like to have them when we cruise again. Our Head server was Raphael from Italy, he was very accommodating in seeing that I got my meal delivered to our stateroom the night "Wilma" made the seas oh so rough and I couldn't make it to the dining room for supper. He always asked how everything was whenever we saw him at BBB during the day. Raphael made it a point to stop at our table nightly to see that everything was to our liking. He was very attentive - not one of those absentee "heads" I have read about.
All three offered that "extra" bit of service for which Disney is so well known.

I love this thread! We are headed on the April29th Magic and are hoping that Colin and Inyo are still on the ship? They are in the picture below, Inyo is from Bali and COlin is from Trinidad....they were both AWESOME with the kids!
