What is your favorite section to stay in Saratoga? Have you gotten your requests most of the time when made? (I know they aren't guaranteed)

I've looked at the maps but we are contemplating a 4 night stay here after our cruise in June and I just can't seem to fully get the layout or where we would want to be.

We stayed at the Grandstand area in the 8100-8400 room building and really enjoyed it. It was very quite. I didn't feel it was too far of a walk to the main pool and artist pallet. It was a quick walk to the boat to DTD, but my the best part for us was that the grandstand was the first stop for the busses in the morning. We never got on a crowded bus when heading to a park in the morning. There is NOTHING I hate more than getting on a crowded bus first thing in the morning. We did have to hop the bus to go to the Paddock pool, and do a bus hop to get back unless we really wanted to hike it, but overall it was great time.

Congress Park for closeness to DTD, you can walk to DTD in about 10 minutes. The other area we like is the Springs for the quite pool, which the extended family enjoys when they come over.

If view is important, one of the best at WDW is from rooms at Congress Park and request higher floor and lake view. You look across lake to DD.

Haven't stayed at SSR yet, but got it for 4 nights via online booking for March. Looking at Google Maps, Grand Stand and Congress Parks seem to be the most laid back areas and I mailed in a request for those.

We prefer the Grandstand area. My girls like the splash area at the pool there and we like the golf course view. It was a short walk to main pool and Artist Palette as well as the bus stop and boat dock.
