Favorite Sandwich Place?

Chain deli's gross me out - cold clammy cuts! We have many corner deli's here in town, and my favorite is bare bones, with homemade pasta, soups, sauce, etc., with a screen door that slams behind you (with a bell), and all the deli's wrap the sandwiches in white waxed paper. My kids love subway, and pick pounds of meat off of their real deli sandwiches!

As far as chains Jersey Mike's.... they slice the meat and cut the cheese as you order it... so its mega fresh and good!

Lol - never heard of Jersey Mike's (live in NJ), but all deli's here cut the meat when you order, and ask how you want it sliced.

Oooh, yeah! Wegman's has great subs too! Forgot about them! We always get our take-out pizza from Wegman's...I love their pizza!!!

jimmy johns, hands down! the founder "jimmy john" is from my hometown and everyone there LOVES it. if you go to the Univ of Illinois, theres a good chance you'll become a JJs addict. the bread, the chips, the pickles, everything is so delicious
