Subway as a national chain.
Then Earl of Sandwich (which I don't consider national with only like 5 locations). I love the Caprese Wrap.

I do like panera bread, but more for the soups and salads.
Jason's deli is another that I love, but more for the all you can eat salad buffet.

Have not found one yet. Although we used to have a "Frullati Cafe" and they had the best panini's. They are out of business now I do believe.

Hard to find a decent sandwich shop here in Mid-MO.

I voted for Jimmy John's since it's my favorite place listed. I used to absolutely love Schlotzkys, but they closed the only location near me several years back.

Panera is really my favorite chain sandwich place.

I'm not a sub fan as I figure I can make a sandwich at home but for local, I like Tony Baloney's.

We love Schlotsky's around here. Unfortunately, I just found out I am allergic to gluten. So, no more sandwiches for me.

Panera and Wegmans for subs.:)

didn't vote because the only two we have here are Subway and Quiznos. Will never go back to Quiznos and we only do Subway when we need something quick and cheap. I forgot we do have a JJs, but it up on SU hill and we rarely get to that area.

Of your choices, I've only tried Subway and I think it's pretty good. My favorite is Panera though.

Subway is my favorite of the ones listed.

Not sure if there are any anywhere else but I love Russo's too!

No "other"?! :lmao:

I voted "subway" because we only have Subway and Quiznos around here from your list. I've never heard of the other choices. I do prefer Subway to Quiznos.

But really, where I live, our local Wawa makes REALLY good hoagies and sandwiches, so we usually go there. We also have a lot of local "cheese steak" type shops in town and they make good hoagies too!

Oooh, yeah! Wegman's has great subs too! Forgot about them! We always get our take-out pizza from Wegman's...I love their pizza!!!

I voted Subway. I've never heard of Which Wich or Schlotzsky. I've never tried Jimmy Johns. And I think I've only had Quiznos once or twice, and it was OK.

I don't really like sub rolls -- too much bread, in my opinion, so neither Quiznos nor Subway is really my style -- I've never tried the others. My idea of a good sandwich is one from an old fashioned Jewish deli, but not so Jewish that they won't let me put cheese with my brisket on rye.

I do love Panera, but I usually get soup and/or a salad. I also like the sandwiches at Cosi's because I like the bread.
