Sorry if I am repeating a thread! I am curious what songs get you motivated when you are out there on those long sometime difficult runs. I cycle songs in and out but a few are always on my MP3. I like so many different genres but here ar a few of mine.
Van Halen- Right Now
Why Can't this be love?
Matthew West- Forgiveness
Frank Sinatra- Fly me to the moon
Taylor Swift- Never, Ever getting back together
What are yours???

and also not thinking of the run in 3-4 minute segments like I might with other songs since the loops are continuous for 30-60 minutes. On the treadmill it's a mix of alternative, pop, country...a bit of everything.
They play that at every race these days and it does serve its purpose in speeding me up, to get far away from it!
On the treadmill, I love listening to Pandora. That way, I get a variety. They have so many stations to choose from or create, that it does make the time go by and you hear new things. I like all sorts of music so it is difficult to pick a favorite. I used to, but then I would get sick of those songs.
