Food just doesn't get talked about enough on the Universal board. Since I am a Foodie I would like to know what restaurants are your favorites when you stay at US.It can onsite or offsite. I really enjoyed Tchoup Tchoup and never miss Mythos. I also tried Pastamore my last visit because it was free in my entertainment book and I really enjoyed my chicken piccata and I may go again my next trip.So what restaurants are on your must do lists every visit?
Thanks for sharing!!!!!:)

We enjoy Tchoup Chop as well.

NBA City is quite good.

We like the buffet at the Royal Pacific for breakfast.

i always eat at hard rock cafe, margaritaville, love their nachos, enchanted oak tavern, can you say happy hour each day, finnegans, mythos, circus mcgurkcus, captain quint, la bamba, int'l food and festival for the fried chicken dinner, nba city.......i know there is more on my list, but not thinking of them all right now.

fire eaters grill until they closed it during october........if it is open, it is pretty good for what they offer.

I have yet to have a bad meal at US!

Our fav's:

Tchoup Chop
The Palm - great martini's!
Bice
Mythos
Mama Dellas
Emeril's
Finnigan's

Must go to Mythos and Tchoup Chop. Like to go to Lombard's Landing, Latin Quarter, Hard Rock Cafe.

Margaritaville is a MUST, Bubba Gumps is going to be a must also. We're still working our way around UO....we've eaten at Pat O'Briens..that was good. Mythos was excellent. This time around, we're trying: Louie's, Enchanted Oak and the new NASCAR......and Margaritaville when DBIL & crew arrive......hmmmmm...that still leaves 2 nights of somewhere to eat.......:scratchin

I'm not very familiar with US but heard alot about Mythos. Is this located in a hotel or City Walk?

Mythos is located in Islands of Adventure in the Lost Continent.

Our must-do's:

IOA:

Mythos
Confisco's (they have a salad with olives, grilled chicken and fried pepperocinis over warm flatbread that is to die for!)

US:

Finnegan's

City:

O'Brian's
NBA City
Bubba Gump's

These were really hard to narrow down, too. Like a PP mentioned, we've never had a bad meal at USO.

Based on my very limited knowledge

:thumbsup2 Mythos, J. Buffets Margaritta (for atmosphere), Enchanted Oak (merlin was working the crowd); nicely surprised by the fare @ Int. Food buffet.

:rolleyes1 Monsters Cafe & The Kitchen were both dirty. The 1st when they opened the joint:confused3 in the am. The Kitchen HRH had food all over the floor around the kiddie buffet the entire time we dined there (an accident waiting to happen) even pointed it out to server; who just shrugged.

Keisha, your last post reminded me of the Kitchen. I said in my previous post I've never had a bad meal at USO; I take that back. While we've had lovely dinners at the Kitchen -- one in particular with a surprise from Scooby-Doo -- our breakfast there was not good. The eggs were cold and appeared to have been made from powder. The meats (sausage/bacon) were barely cooked. And half the buffet trays were empty throughout our entire meal. Not just needing to be refilled, either. Totally clean and empty with lids on them. And this breakfast was a fortune! You'd think we were getting eggs benedict, Belgian waffles and champagne for the price they charged.

We did complain, and the staff knocked 50 percent off our bill because we'd eaten "some" of the food

Like I said, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there for dinner, but there are many, many better options at the parks or Citywalk for breakfast.

The food @ the Kitchen was good (wish we could have seen a celeb chef); but from working in the service industry years ago, i realize a dirty front end, doesn't bode well for kitchen sanitation either.

Thanks for the great responses!!!!I knew there were foodies on this board. I also see there are a few who enjoy a few adult beverages can you say"happy hour" and" Margaritaville". Thanks for the suggestions, there a couple I have never tried that will be on my list for December.
Thanks again!!!!!!:)

We always eat at:
Mythos
Tchoup Chop
Mama Della's
Finnegans
The Kitchen
Islands Dining Room - breakfast
Both Bakeries at the parks

We try and eat at:
Jakes
All the on-site hotel pool bars
Margaritaville
Latin Quarter
Hard Rock Cafe

The food at Universal as a whole plays its part in our many return visits! It is so so so good. :thumbsup2 I havent tried Bubba Gumps yet and it seems to get rave reviews that on my list for next time.
