I like to plan ahead and am already planning our trip for next year, lol. We are on the dining plan (my husband insisted) so price isn’t an issue. We will be letting DD chose if she wants to go to CRT or BOG dinner as a birthday present from her grandparents so we will pay for that out of pocket.

These are the restaurants I’m thinking about so far.
Crystal palace (it’s a non negotiable for my husband - we must go for breakfast every trip)
Bon Voyage breakfast
Akershus
Storybook dining at Artist Point
Sana’a (thinking about this mainly for my husband and I - but do think she’ll like the animals)
1900 Park Fare dinner - although I’m undecided as there lots of princess meals.

Any others that we should check out instead? We are staying at WL and I really wanted to do the Bon Voyage breakfast because she’s into Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. We did do the Garden Grill before but my husband did not enjoy it and says he won’t go back. We also did ohana dinner and I’m meh on it so wouldn’t want to repeat that again either.

Crystal Palace Bfast is a must for us too!
We are doing the Storybook Dining this November, so I don't know about it just yet.
We LOVE Garden Grill for bfast. The characters come around multiple times, there's no getting up to go get food and possibly miss the characters, I love the rotating scenery! The cinnamon rolls are AMAZING.
My other must do's:
San Angel Inn (super cool inside, yummy mexican food, GREAT margaritas!)
Liberty Tree Tavern - DELICIOUS family style meal, best pot roast EVER, OOEY GOOEY TOFFEE CAKE!!!!
We love Le Cellier, more for a date night
50's Prime Time is super fun and has really yummy food
Raglan Road is a MUST for us EVERYTIME!!
Via Napoli is super yummy
Tutto Italia is good
Chef's de France is good
We are trying Biergarten for the first time this Nov and I'm super excited!

I was going to say Crystal Palace and Garden Grill - but I see you already have one and have already crossed off the other!

Rainforest Cafe was also a hit with my DS around that age. - There's one at Animal Kingdom and one at Disney Springs. (Or I second Raglan Road at DS as well!)

Of your list, the only other one I've been to is Sanaa, and I agree it will be fine. - It's good for you and your DH to get to pick a "grown-up" place, and she will indeed love the animals!

If your DD is the only child in the party, there's also nothing wrong with the other choices being a bit princess-heavy. She'll only be in that phase for a short time, so enjoy it!

Thank you! Yes she will be the only child. I was thinking that too. That she’ll only enjoy it for so long so maybe just take advantage of it for now. But it’s so princess heavy.

I’m going to take a look at Raglan Road and see. Thanks for the suggestion! (You and the other poster)

Love Bon Voyage! Also really enjoyed Storybook since you can meet characters that are difficult to meet otherwise. 1900 for dinner is fun because of the stepsisters. Akerhaus was nice way to meet a lot of princesses, but we enjoyed Bon Voyage and Storybook more.

I would recommend Tusker House for breakfast. It was at hit for my daughter when she was around that age. Crystal Palace is a must do breakfast for us as well. My wife went there as a kid so it's a tradition for her. It was the only sit down restaurant she got to eat at as a kid.

So Tusker House is good? Would you do a PPO?

We enjoyed the breakfast. Good character interaction. It's been a while since we went but we got picture with Donald Duck with a little frame. I don't know if they do that anymore. I know it can be a little more adventurous for lunch and dinner. I would do a PPO if you are trying to do Flights of Passage without a FP.

Tusker house PPO actually puts you at a disadvantage for FOP. We did Tusker at 1030 and really liked that. We had some good touring time in the morning and were ready to eat when it was time!

We did 1900 th park fare at 1145 last week for the first time and absolutely loved it!

Thank you! We actually ate at Satu'li Canteen last time for QS and my husband wanted to do that again, so I have to try to feel him out with Tusker House

Our little one really enjoyed Ashershus. The characters were great and the kids got to parade around the restaurant with the princesses.
