Favorite Quick-Service Restaurant? Why?

We love to get skewers at Bengal BBQ. Seating is limited in the area, so we usually take our grilled meats and pretzels and drinks to the Enchanted Tiki room and eat our lunch there. Since they allow food into the show, we get lunch/dinner with entertainment. Works out great.

Rancho del Zocalo might be my favorite Disneyland CS. Get the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips for dessert! YUM

Bengal Barbecue is DELICIOUS. That smell gets me every time I walk near Indiana Jones...mmmm.

Jolly Holiday is new, and I love it!! It is in a fantastic location at the end of Main Street - a great place to take a break while you're eating and people watch. The sandwiches and chips are great, as are the desserts!

My very favorite CS option will probably always be the corn chowder at Pacific Wharf in DCA.....but the above are my favorite DL options. :goodvibes

I personally like hungry bear because of the sweet potato fries and veggie burgers. We like to go there in the evening and see the kitties :)

I LOVE French Dip but I'm very fussy. I like a good roll, au jus, and the beef thinly sliced. Also real roast beef, not that stuff from a package. Anyone have a picture?

I like Rancho Del Zocalo, decent food and fast. I also like the salads at Pizza Port and the Foccacia Bread. For snacks we like churros and ice cream bars. :)

Oh came here to DIS specifically to find info for RDZ, we have not been there in a couple of years!! I really liked it then and want to go back, was looking at the menu and wondered just what the citrus fired chicken, and the fish tacos are like? I may have already eaten these by the time you have a chance to see this though!! lol...
Further to the thread, besides this place, we love the Plaza Inn chicken dinner so deeeeeelish!! and usually pretty quick and a huge meal enough for 2 adults to share!!
French Market has some amazing jambalaya, and at Cafe Orleans even though it is sit down, they are fast there!! I think they try to get as many people through as possible! the gumbo there is the best, just like the Blue Bayou's. and yes the scewers at Bengal Barbecue are good, but it would take a couple or 3 to make a meal!

Big thank you for the beef stew in a bread bowl tip - that is now at the top of the list of things to try!

I usually really like the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl at Pacific Wharf Cafe, but this last time it just didn't seem as good. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch, but that's usually my "go-to" place for counter service when in DCA.

It doesn't get mentioned a whole lot, but my favorite treat is the Matterhorn Macaroon. It's definitely unique to Disneyland since its a dessert based off the Matterhorn. You must like coconut though to enjoy this but the white chocolate melted on top is just soooo good. We got first thing in the morning to Jolly Holiday Cafe and get a few because they do sell out. :yay:

I don't recall it having lots of onions, but I can't swear by that. It had a really deep rich flavor. I think it showed up when they overhauled the menu back in early November.

The beef stew is back?!?! I haven't eaten at French Market since they took it off years ago.

Favorite Quick Service - I love White Roaring Snacks inside GCH. Not in the parks, but close enough. It's a nice respite, and there are great options there. Show your receipt to get back through the hotel entry. Honorable mentions - Plaza inn for cobb salad or fried chicken and Boudin Bakery if I'm in a carb-y mood.

Snacks - Ghiradelli sundaes!

I like Jolly Holiday Bakery. My favorite meal item is probably the Waldorf chicken salad sandwich, but they have awesome desserts there too. DBF and I really enjoyed the strawberry lemon cupcake on our last visit. I don't know if that was seasonal or not but we had it in January of last year. My favorite savory snack is without a doubt the jalapeno cheese-filled pretzel. I got mine at Bengal BBQ but they're also available at Coke Corner.

You must eat a corn dog from the Little Red Wagon on Main Street! It will change your life. I don't like hot dogs at all but I will always get a Disneyland Corn Dog from the wagon. If you're walking down Main Street and veer right like you are heading to Tomorrowland, the Little Red Wagon is right there.

The bread bowls at New Orleans square are also delicious.

The Bengal BBQ skewers are yummy but get expensive quickly. I think its $3 or so for one skewer and DH easily put away about 6 of them and was still starving so it adds up. Yummy and great choice for a little snack.

The cinnamon rolls are the best here. Get them early in the morning at the Main Street Cafe shop and have them heat it up. WAY WAY WAY better than WDW's cinnamon rolls.

Turkey legs are a favorite but they are FULL of salt. Poor DH couldn't even get his ring off in the morning.

Dole Whips - delicious!

The corn dogs from the Corn Dog Castle in DCA are the same as the ones at the Red Wagon in DLR. Just so ya know. :)

I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this way... I was upset the WDW's Cinnamon Rolls just weren't as good. :(

5 words: Turkey leg for the win...

Fried chicken at Plaza Inn. Yum! There's nothing better.

So good. Staying at the VGC, we liked White Water Snacks for the convenience factor and the pretty good food too. Chicken nachos were so good, we never tried the beef nachos.

Bengal place has great meat and veggie sticks. Delicious quick easy and reasonable. Chicken beef and veggie sticks are all great!

-Bengal Barbecue: Bacon wrapped asparagus!

-Stage Door Cafe: Funnel cake

-French Market: Pretty much anything on the menu. And at the walk up window outside order the Mickey beignets.

-River Belle Terrace: Mickey pancake for breakfast

-Pizza Port: Asian Chicken Salad

-Jolly Holiday Bakery: Chicken Noodle Soup, Matterhorn Macaroon (but you have to like coconut), Cinnamon roll
