Favorite potluck crockpot recipe...

I like to slow cook a chuck roast or two (depending on crowd size) in my electric oven with plenty of mushrooms, beef broth, onions or peppers if desired. Slice thin for sandwiches on some good crusty bread or dollar rolls. Have some white cheddar and pepper jack on the side.

Thanks all! You guys are giving me lots of ideas, now to make a decision on which recipe I want to do!

I have also done a baked potato soup in crockpot (with the "loaded" toppings on side: cheese, sour cream, bacon, green onions). Something to keep in mind for next winter instead of chili :)
But the root beer/pork tenderloin recipe is the one I go to-so easy and so good. Ditto the small "slider" size buns.

My niece makes outstanding spicy meatballs. Believe me, she never goes home with any leftovers. She takes a bag of frozen original meatballs, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and a can of chopped jalapenos. I've doubled it for a large crowd and it worked out good.
