Where exactly is the Hilton Head Ice Cream Store? I'm an ice cream fanatic. We love Signe's for both breakfast and lunch. We also enjoy British Open Pub in Wexford Village and Salty Dog Cafe in Sea Pines. Someday we'll get totry the Sea Shack. The Sea Shack. The best low country food. no frills on paper plates. get there early. before 5:00, or you will wait!!!
Also, go to Hilton Head Ice Cream store. Best ice cream on the the island. Free toppings, as much as you want.
Harold's Diner [on 278 next to the Exxon station] Great food and you probably get a local flavor [many locals visit].![]()

Another vote for Scott's and Frankie Bones. Two we really liked this trip were Redfish and Tapas. The only meal we've ever really disliked was at Kingfisher.
Ellen,
Our kids are 15 and 21 and really enjoyed Tapas. There were only 2 other tables being served when we were there and they didn't have kids. It did not look like a kid UNFRIENDLY place though. Best service ever and a really different dining experience. I tried alligator (surprisingly good) duck in some kind of sauce (did not like but DS loved) best salmon I've ever had and 5-6 other things. If you like the idea of trying many different items instead of your usual plated entrees and sides you will truly enjoy this.

Connears,
Were you there this June? We were talking to the nicest Red Sox fans (didn't hold that against them) at the beach house on our June 15-20 trip this year.
