We're going to be on the Magic next month. We got a great deal on a midship inside cabin. The only downside is that (of course) there is no balcony for us to hang out and relax. So, I'm on the hunt for places to have a drink, read a book and soak up the atmosphere. Does anyone have a favorite deck, bar, nook, pool or quiet spot to do absolutely nothing?

Deck 4, starboard, aft. Great lounge chairs, quiet, covered from sun and rain, nice view, and except for early in the morning just a few joggers - enough of them to give atmosphere and to make me feel like I'm relaxing in a park somewhere with a fantastic view. Port side seems busier, maybe because it's more convenient to get there from the inside passages.

Yes!! One of my favourite spots on the Wonder (so I imagine it's the same on the Magic).

We like to sit on the lifeboat deck. This is where most people gather for the lifeboat drill before leaving port. There are some people playing shuffleboard, and an occasional jogger, but we sit away from the shuffleboard area.

I agree with the previous posters about deck 4. I also really like the tables in the Promenade Lounge that are next to the large windows for when I want a more climate controlled environment.
Absolutely...and when the Promenade Lounge doesn't have something going on, it seems like it is always a quiet, comfortable retreat.

Depends on wind and temperature. Nice warm days not too windy, deck 4 starboard away from the kids playing shuffleboard. Cold or extremely windy, outside Cove Cafe although I don't know what the move of smoking has impacted this. Not too warm and sunny, adult pool area or deck 10 starboard but that may now be concierge. Promenade when it is cold or too busy everywhere else.

Great suggestions! Thanks to all of you. It's nice to have different choices, depending on the weather and other factors. I'm going to check out all of your ideas right after our embarkation lunch. :tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe: Thanks again.

What is the smoking change you're talking about. Is the area off of Cove Café a smoking section?
