Whats your favorite disney park-MGM, Epcot, AK, OR MK, and why? I am trying to see all the parks during our 3 day trip! any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't decide. My favorite park is a tie between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I like Magic Kingdom because it just screams Disney. There is so much to do there, and there's something for everyone. I like Epcot mostly because of the World Showcase and how much there is so see, although I like some of the Future World rides (Ellen's Energy Adventure, Spaceship Earth, Test Track, and I'm sure I'm going to love Soarin'). Then MGM, then Animal Kingdom. Although when we go next week and I experience Expedition Everest, Animal Kingdom may pull up with or pass MGM.

My favorite is MGM. My family loves the TOT and Rockin' Roller Coaster and I just adore the whole studio thing. From The Great Movie ride to Beauty and the Beast. It will be the first place we go in December. One of the main reasons is that DH wants a smoked turkey leg!

I doubt you'll have time to make all the parks. I would plan to skip AK, although I loved AK. There isn't quite as much there, and it's likely to be crowded with the new Expedition Everest ride. Hopefully you'll be rested from your cruise, and you will have energy to go all out. :cool1: The one thing I would recommend avoiding, is planning your day around priority seatings at restaurants. Knowing you have to be at a certain place in a certain park by a set time can take out the flexibility you may need to fully utilize the fastpass.

MK...hands down, my all time favorite!!!
Epcot...a close 2nd!
AK...3rd!
MGM...final..still love it though!

#1 Epcot: I have always loved this park. It might be because there is so much to see and do there. It is a large park, though, so maybe you would want to do Future World one day in the morning, then World Showcase late afternoon to night (you can see Illuminations then!! :Pinkbounc ).

#2 Disney Studios: I love RRC. It is a fantastic ride, along with ToT which is another "Disney Magic" ride that is just teeming with the best of Imagineering. Star Tours is great too. You could easily do this park in one day.

#3 Magic Kingdom: This is the definitive Disney theme park, aside from Disneyland itself. For some reason, though, this park was never my favorite. It is do-able in a day, but you would have to skip a few things.

#4 Animal Kingdom: Too out of the way for me, not enough good rides (although I have not been on EE yet, so I might have to bite my tongue for now). The theming here is great though. This is another park that you can do in a day.

But, they are all Disney and the 'World' would not be complete without them, so they are all great in my book.

Choices, choices, when I all love them so much…

AK; Imagineering masterpiece (misunderstood by many – It is not all about rides)
EPCOT; Illuminations is enough to LOVE this park
MK; what can I say. It is MAGIC KINGDOM
MGM; Tower Of Terror!!!

MMmm…

Don’t know but AK vs EPCOT for the nr 1 spot in my books
But then? I would never miss Typhoon Lagoon on my trips either…

Enjoy

Their all Great parks, and you can see the Disney touch everywhere.

But when I'm nailed down, I would say:

1. Magic Kingdom: I feel like a child again when I walk underneath the train station. It's an amazing place, full of ambiance that is unbeatable.

2. MGM: MGM is a smaller park than the others, but while it's small in size, it's great in the Disney experience.

3. Epcot: A really cool place, but you really don't see a lot of Disney there.

4. AK: This place is a magnificent park, but while it's physically the biggest, the events and rides there are fewer.

If I have to pick MK is my favorite. With MK there is something about the Castle and walking down Mainstreet. All the rides are so much fun and I feel like such a kid.

But I love all of them and for varying reasons. I'm always amazed when people hate AK. I love the theming, the animals (NOTAZU) and the rides!

We were faced with that last week. Only 3 days and 4 parks, so we decided that we would only see 3 of them. At first we thought we would park hop and try to squeeze in the 4th one but we didn't want to feel rushed to do all of it really fast so we went to the following...

Day One MK (favorite park) it was open till 11:00 no EMH
Day Two MGM (2nd favorite) we were there all day till 9:00 love RnR and ToT.
Day Three Epcot (3rd favorite) we stayed all day too. Really didn't have enough time to get it all done.

Wanted so much to make it to AK but as I said didn't want to feel really rushed. Besides it gives me a reason to go back so we can ride Expedition Everest.

Good Luck in your decision. It is a tough one!!

1. EPCOT--great rides, great food, great drink, great music. Has it all

2. MGM--I love this park and always have. The Tower, RnR, GMR are all terrific. The Shows, like Indy, Fantasmic, Muppets, LMA, these are all great too.

3. MK--What's more to say. POTC, HM, BTM, Splash. One great ride after another. The only problem is the food is lacking and I would like an adult beverage available while on vacation in Florida. Also, and I hate to say this on these boards, but the screaming kids can get overwhelming at times :confused3

4. AK--I hate to put this last because I think Kilimanjaro is the most amzing thing they've produced so far. Kali is below average, but the rest is great. The only reason I like the others better is because I think AK has a lot of growing to do. In 5 years, it could be number 2

Magic Kingdom is my favorite because it just is "Disney" to me. I love the Mountains and all the attractions. Epcot is DH's favorite because he loves the countries and the food. I recommend eating in China, Italy and Mexico!

I would probably leave out AK if I only had 3 days. It's only a 1/2 day park for us anyway so I'd rather spend the whole third day at MGM.

Definitely Epcot!
Then Magic Kingdom, followed by MGM and AK (tied).

I love them all, but I really like the wide-open spaces of Epcot. In all the other parks I sometimes feel crowded, never at Epcot. The restaurants are better there, and Illuminations is my favorite nighttime show -- I feel cheated if I only see it once.

Magic Kingdom is the crown jewel, but like any jewel it is overvalued and consequently more crowded than the others. I feel like I have to be careful when we go and what we do there, while at Epcot I feel like we can go anytime -- weekends, afternoons, whenever. MK is also aging, and desperately needs a new attraction. The only significant new attraction in the last five years has been Philharmagic (which is easily the best 3D movie of the four).

I have a hard time choosing a favorite - We have our favorite things at each park.. depends on our mood.

MK and EPCOT are our most visited parks, with AK being the least (because we can't go there in the evenings like we can the other parks most of the year).

I am thankful that we live nearby, and can go on a whim..... and do what we are in the mood for that day!
