Do you still wear any of your old clothes that you just cannot part with? What makes a blouse or shoes become something you want to keep around a very long time?

The first thing I do when I get home from work in the evenings, after smoochin' :love2: on DH and feeding the two cats, is change out of my dress clothes, and just get comfy. If the weather is cooler, this usually means sweats. If it's August, and 95º, that usually means a loose T-shirt and shorts. Like FL, the eastern part of my state is humid. This evening, the T-shirts stayed in the drawer, and out came the 20+ year old halter top, that thankfully, still fits. It's a breathable synthetic of some sort, the tag is long since gone. Whodathunkit that halters would come back in style after all this time??

DH and I went to Jackson Hole Wyoming for a skiing vacation with a large group of friends (23)...we made sweat shirts at a local spin art place...Turns out Zurgie proposed on that trip....I don't think I'll ever stop wearing that sweatshirt..and it is really starting to show its age (16yrs now..)

I have a grey Mickey Mouse Sweatshirt that I bought in WDW when I was in highschool. The thing is all stretched out, but I just can't part with it!

I haven't worn it in ages, but I also haven't parted with it either...:p It's a shorty t-shirt from Disney-MGM studios with this kind of puff colorful design. Just can't part with this. Probably purchased in 1991 (1st trip), or 1993 (2nd trip).

What I have started wearing again, and it's probably just as old, is a WDW t-shirt with a Mickey head, all glittery in the pictures, depicting the THEN 3 parks! :earseek: Just LOVE wearing this 'new' tee again!!! :p

I have an old Tampa Bay Buccaneer shirt that I will never get rid of. It's my game shirt and must be worn during every game. Well every game I watch in my own home. It's too tattered to be seen in public anymore. The sleeves are gone and baseball sized holes abound, but I love that shirt!

I have my Mouse Club jacket that I was given when I worked on the show - 12 years ago!! I won't ever part with it - too many memories. About once a winter I'll pull it out and wear it just to drive my bosses (2 former Mouseketeers) nuts. LOL

I have a old miltary coat that belonged to my late father from his days n the service.I am not letting go of it since it's a link for me and it looks like it has seen some time which makes people think I hit surplues but it's the real thing

I still wear an old ESPRIT t-shirt that I got in high school. It's navy cotton tee that's soooooooo comfortable.

I was contemplating getting rid of it when we had a garage sale last year. Nope. I wore it to the garage sale instead. LOL....I made $800 that day wearing my comfy old t-shirt. Maybe my customers thought - this lady REALLY needs some help, let's buy more.
