One of our favorite things to do while at Disney is to head to Port Orleans Riverside in the evening and go see Bob......he is the entertainment they have in the bar/lounge there. He is such a fun entertainer! Very hard to explain what he's like because anything you can say about him doesn't do him justice! He puts on a great show that is fun for adults and also for children. I believe he is only there Wednesdays thru Saturdays so you may want to call Port Orleans Riverside before you head over there just to be sure he's there that night.

Do you know how far a walk it is between Riverside and French Quarter? Thanks

We like to go over to DTD, and have ice cream sundaes and just sit and relax by the water. :thumbsup2 And, having a spa treatment is always great!! I am hoping to check out the spa at GF on our next trip.

As mentioned by someone above, I believe it is about 1/2 mile or so to walk. It's not to bad of a walk.....very nice. I believe you could also maybe take one of the boats down to Riverside from French Quarter.
