Favorite movie snack?

Are ya'll popcorn people? Butter? Icee's? Candy? Nachos? Ice cream? What's your poison?

For me, small buttered popcorn and a jack and diet coke if the theater serves, or just a diet coke. Every once in a blue moon, I'll forego the aforementioned and get a blueberry icee.

My favorite movie theater from TX serves real food at your seat and drinks. I like to get a berry lemon drop and an appetizer plate. At other movie theaters just water and a little buttered popcorn.

Yep! Welcome to Nashville, ya'll! Admittedly, not all do, but the independent place I support most often does. For big block busters, I will go to a commercial place with the huge screens and deal with my regular diet coke, which is a treat itself for me. I only drink 1 coke every week or 2, but the jack and coke and popcorn combo is pretty yummy.

....the only places that would sell wine or a mixed drink are theaters where live shows are performed, and only after 6PM.....any kind of alcoholic beverage is not served at a movie theater here....

I always found the prices for snacks too high. My wife, who worked for years in theaters, HAS to have a large popcorn saturated in all the genuine simulated butter flavored liquid she can get.
In her movie theater working days, ALL popcorn was made on Thursday night for the next week. Now most theaters make it fresh multiple times a day.

A glass of wine and a cheese plate would be the perfect movie food, but it's not a choice right now. They are building one here though.

They discontinued that back at the first of the year. They SHOULD have made coffee-based drinks. People go to a wine bar for wine, not Starbucks; it was dumb, and I love both.

No kidding? Didn't know it was still a thing. Of course, I, again, wasn't buying alcohol there.
