I'll be checking in to CR the morning of my MVMCP. I planned to eat a real lunch and enter MVMCP at 4pm with a set of FPs to use before 6:30. With limited time for dining and parks this trip, I'd like to make my "dinner" something yummy but not time consuming. I know lots of places close early on party nights. And TS just takes too long. What are your favorites that are quick?

I like the Polynesians QS restaurant the best. Good food choices that aren't found everywhere else at Disney.

Outside of park, Contempo Cafe just so you can walk to MK right after -- or if you'll be in park, we always love the Plaza even though its TS its a filling meal. Otherwise Casey's.

I ate at CHH the night of MNSSHP and it was nearly empty! I know that's a different party, but maybe party nights are similar throughout the season. It was fast and I was able to sit upstairs and people watch while I ate.

Columbia Harbor is my go to. We actually ate at Pecos Bills for Halloween and I was surprised that it was pretty good. I had the Pulled Pork Nachos at Captaian Cooks were really goo as well.

Contempo Cafe (those cupcakes!!) then a 10 min walk to the MK.

I like eating at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe on MVMCP nights because they have the character dance party which is a party specific event.
I tend to eat on the opposite side of the restaurant because its less crowded and loud and then after I go hang out at the dance party area for a little bit before moving on to my next attraction.

Is that the dance party in Tomorrowland? is it where the Incredibles usually are some nights? Which characters are there?

It's different from the dance party outside in tomorrowland.
It's located inside Cosmic Ray's.
They turn it into a kid friendly nightclub basically. There's a DJ, music, the main lights are turned off and colorful dance lights are turned on.
The characters change every little while since they are dancing with guests and getting hot.
I can definitely recall seeing Chip and Dale, Goofy, Minnie, Eeyore...

Wow! Thanks, I had no idea - my kids would love that. This year is our first MVMCP! We are very excited.

I was always a fan of the contempo cafe. I like the sandwiches there and it is a short walk back to mk

We like Captain Cooks at the Poly, lots of interesting options with really something for everyone. We (DH and I) like the Aloha Pork Sandwich, any of the Asian Noodle with Vegetables and shrimp or chicken, and the flat breads. DD likes the Chicken Caesar salad.

If you wanted to do a TS, I would go for Kona, or the Grand Floridian Café - But would look for a ADR in the 2:30 time zone so you can eat and enjoy your meal...

Thanks guys. Contempo is probably out because I will eat there earlier in the day and be there all weekend. Skipping TS. I might go for Capt Cooks, but the more thought I give it, I will probably be in the park when I'm ready to grab something. I have done CHH to death. Cosmic Rays sounds like it's worth checking out. I've just never been interested in the menu. Is there anything substantial available at Sleepy Hollow?
