Favorite Moderate & Value resort?

My husband and I are thinking of planning a trip for October 2016 and we are contemplating staying at a moderate this time. We have stayed at Pop & All Star Music.
What is your favorite moderate and value resort?
Which of the two do you prefer and why?
We were hoping to possibly do Free dining And I would like the table service plan.
So is a moderate a better deal to get that versus upgrading at a value?

We love POR and POFQ for Mod and POP and Sports for value.

When I looked at prices during free dinning for our most recent trip it came out less to book a value hotel and pay the upgrade to table service dinning than book a room at a moderate resort and get table service dinning free. I believe a moderate resort was over $1,000 more. We don't spend very much time at the resort so it wasn't worth the extra money to us.

We have stayed at CS, CB and POFQ.

POFQ is our top pick. Its small, one bus stop. No table service restaurant but one is nearby at POR. Plus, you are only a 10 minute boat ride to Disney Springs with other restaurant options.

CB comes in at a close second. Beautifully landscaped. Its a little spread out but it works to make you feel like the whole resort is not crowded. Shutter's is a great Table service restaurant. I know there is some construction going on there now, so take that into consideration.

Both POFQ and CB really make you feel like you are on vacation.

CS comes in last. The theming is gorgeous and again beautifully landscaped. We didn't like the Convention feel to the place. I almost felt like I was staying offsite. We also didn't care for Maya Grill (Table Service restaurant).

We spend quite a bit of time at the resort. And we are two adults with no children. Hope that helps!
