It's interesting that you would mention that. When HBO made the film 61* about the Mantle/Maris home run chase, they actually used old Tiger Stadium to shoot the Yankee Stadium shots in. (The Tigers had already moved to Comerica.)

My younger DD doesn't really care, but my older DD says that she likes both teams (quite the diplomat that one! ) I told her that she can't like both teams and that she needs to pick. She is going with the Yankees for now. I still love her though!
