Firstly, let me say, thank you Caitlin for recognizing the genius that is Jack Johnson. Secondly, WTH DISers!? Have you guys never heard him. Seriously, go now. Listen to..oh, I don't know. Cookie Jars - Jack Johnson.

He's insightful, laid back, intelligent, witty, totally normal. I'm surprised he's not more well known.

Jack Johnson, John Mayer & Jason Mraz.
They're all perfect. Jack Johnson is a wonderful artist, his voice is calming, and the lyrics are beautiful. Something I could fall asleep to.
John Mayer also has a lovely voice, and his songs are often catchy and kind of.. maybe not inspiring, but I relate to some of them quite well.
Jason Mraz just blows my mind with his lyrics.
It depends on what day you're talking to as to which one I'll say is the best out of them.

Jack's songs are generally cute or really mellowing. The guitar is usually amazing too, I love the guitar on Taylor. Anyway, what I love about his songs is they usually make me think a little. His songs about girls sometimes focus on the little quirky things that he loves about them. He can really write an amazing love song.

I haven't heard it, but I'll probably get a copy of it later. I heard Times Like These the other day for the first time, and I love it. Beautiful song.
I love almost all of In Between Dreams, except for.. Constellations. And sometimes I'm not crazy about Staple It Together and Situations.

Sleep Through The Static is an amazing album as well. Losing Keys, Sleep Through the Static and Same Girl are my favorites.

The Remedy is an old favorite of mine. Wordplay was the first song by him that I really liked. My favorites by him right now are : Love For A Child, Details in the Fabric (ft. James Morrison), and Butterfly.

When I'm thinking of a love one who is sick, I use it in that sense, mostly because I saw a show called Music Is My Life, and this kid was listening to it to help the pain of slowly losing his mother to breast cancer, and it really touched me.

I usually don't take songs literally as to how the band members intended it. The Adventure is just so.. inspirational, and beautiful.. and lovely.. the lyrics are amazing, te music is amazing..

Lol, a lot of people think Only Human is about weed. It's not, it's about the struggle between the 'green' movement and wondering if it really matters. At least that's IMO. I don't really like the sound of his voice in that one, though.

Yeah, I didn't either. People were saying that the tree symbolized marijuana or some crap like that.

I'm really tired of the whole 'I'm only human.' excuse. You either participate in the 'green' movement or you don't. It's a choice, not some involuntary action just because you're a human. Stand up for what you believe in, stop using that as a cop out. Ya know?

I'm not saying which side I'm on, that's just my opinion.

That song was about weed? Lol! I've only listened to it a few times but I guess I never made the connection between 'Mary Jane' and marijuana. I just thought it was about a random chick named MJ.
