Sailing on the Fantasy in April with my DH and DDs, aged 4 1/2 and 8 (first time cruisers!). From reading the Navigators, I see that in addition to just "playing around", the club offers various activities such as "Tinker Bell's talent show" and "Super Sloppy Science". Was just curious if your kids had any favorite activities. Thanks!

My daughters really enjoyed "Pluto's Pajama Party" last time. For this coming cruise, we are going to try to have them there for "Friendship Rocks".

I believe "Friendship Rocks" is only on the classic ships, not the Fantasy and Dream.

My DD really enjoyed "Tinkerbell's Talent Show" and some of the pirate night activities. I don't remember what the name of the pirate night activity was. More than anything, she enjoyed making crafts and playing on the computer games.

I think it would depend a lot on the ages & interests of your kids. I'm pretty sure Friendship Rocks isn't on the Fantasy or Dream (if it is we've missed it on every cruise but I've seen it on the Wonder). We missed Pluto's Pajama Party because it was held during the 2nd dinner seating & I didn't want my kiddo to miss eating in Animator's but most people seem to recommend going to it. My 4 1/2 yr old loved the princess story time & anything with crafts. I did Mickey's Puzzle Playtime with her when she was 2 (it was during open house) and that was fun too but we were doing something else when it took place this past cruise. I sent her to the club during a few other activities but she chose to color/draw/do crafts on her own. She was actually doing one of the animator's drawing sessions once when I went to pick her up & didn't want to leave before it ended & that surprised me because I thought it was more for older kids but she was very proud of her attempt at drawing Stitch.

Do we have to sign up in advance for the specific activities? When do we sign up and is it difficult to get into some? When we went to Aulani last year we had to line up every morning super early to sign up for kids' programs and a few of the ones we wanted ended up being full before we got to the front of the line.

No, no need to sign up for specific activities. It has been noted that the specific activities may not be well-announced to kids who are already in the club so if you child wants to participate in a specific activity, it might be best to drop them off shortly before that activity starts. Otherwise, they might get busy playing in one area of the club and miss that the desired activity is starting.

My daughter loved the magic playfloor and the science. Actually there wasn't much she didn't love. She was actually sad she aged out of it.

Mine loved the food related activities ( making cookies, cupcake decorating) and the science activities, flubber, volcano, etc. They liked the pajama party as well.
