Favorite Italian Restaurant - I really need your opinions!

We've made several trips to DW but have never eaten at any of the Italian restaurants. Please tell me your favorite for dining with kids ages 13, 12 and 6. Kids prefer just basic pasta dishes (marinara & alfredo). And we aren't overly exotic eaters ourselves ;) I'd love to know your favorite dish too!

My family aren't very adventorous eaters and consider Italian exotic so I can give you a rundown of the Italian places we've eaten at wdw

1. Tony's town square (mk) : overpriced and not very good. My family loves it tho and I usually get a ceasar salad. Very small selection, they do have traditional spaghetti with meatballs. Not stuffy at all, very kid friendly :) lady and the tramp art hang on the walls.

2. Via Napoli (Epcot) : they have pasta and a variety of pizzas, but it's not "American" style pizza it's an imitation of Naples pizza (we lived there for three years, it doesn't really hold up imho) but the kids may like it. It's loud and fun and definitely kid friendly. The theming is nice.

3. Il mulino (the swan I believe): the food was very good imo, but it is more expensive than the two above. They have pastas and more adventurous Italian food. They do offer half plate option where the serving is reduced (and the price). Food was great and service amazing. If driving they validate your parking so it's free. It can feel a bit stuffy depending on what's happening at the hotel since it is a conference hotel (there was a ballroom dancing competition happening when I was there and I felt woefully underdressed but my server made me feel very welcome).

Hope that helps! :)

In the parks - Epcot - Via Napoli
Resorts - Swan- Il Mulino

My dd has loved both of these restaurants since she was a kid;) (and she IS picky) -
Reviews from my website - although a little dated- we dine at both frequently (we are semi-local) and they still have most of the same menu items and they are all still delicious!

Mama Melrose is our favorite. We have tried all the ones in the parks and like its selection the best.
