I have an iPhone4 and have some favorite apps. Tonight, picked up an iPad2. Can't wait for it to finish updating the iOS so I can start playing.

What apps do you have that are just tons more fun & enjoyable on the iPad than on an iPhone or iTouch?

I watched a couple of YouTube videos and saw an air hockey app, piano app, and uno card game all played on iPad. Can't wait to check them out.

And today, I discovered that TV Guide has an iPhone app that is searchable & gives reminders for favorite shows. How I've overlooked that, I don't know!! Despise the print version of TV Guide.

World Cams (free, I love live webcams and this one is excellent)

Twitterific

Flipboard

CNN, USA Today for the pictures, excellent quality, and two local news apps that I check every day.

Flixter Movies

Kayak mobile (awesome to track flights and so fun to watch when family or friends are flying anywhere)

Finished updating iOS and finally got to start setting it up. First thing I noticed is Calculator, Clock & Weather that are all standard on iPhones are not included on iPad? That's just weird!

So off to find good replacement apps for those. Dumb!

If you don't already have a Kindle or a Nook, get the apps. Each company has plenty of free eBooks they give away all the time. My Kindle has over 500 free eBooks loaded, all free, and all read only with the app.

Yes, I've actually read an entire app on my iPhone using the Kindle app. I'm sure that will be tons easier on my eyes on the iPad now. ;)

I got the iPad because I found I was using my iPhone ALL the time & for everything in the house, and not really touching my laptop. And the iPhone is kind of hard to read for some things.

My friend let me test out her iPad. I love it. I'm envious of you. definitely thinking of getting one or another tablet.

Has anyone downloaded the new Square credit card reader app? I just found out about this last night. One of the founders of Twitter developed the software. It is a totally free service now (with only a per transaction fee) to charge credit cards. It is a little square piece that plugs into the headphone jack of an iPhone, iPad, iPod, or android phone. People can swipe other people's credit cards into the square thingie to charge a purchase. It's supposed to be great for small business owners, craft fair vendors (like me,) sales people traveling on the road. I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience using it?

I have the paino app you mentioned and really enjoy it.

If you like to doodle or ever use your iPad to keep kids busy, definitely get Absolute Board.

And I second an e-reader app. (I have iBooks.)

I also love Bloom HD. It's just kind of a relaxing music program, but it's really neat.
