At any rate, a lot of the songs I posted here were from my own playlists. I think I am going to make a separate playlist just with instrumentals and I’m going to add some of these other ones!

And this one was kind of my introduction to EDM, which you wouldn't expect a fossil like me to enjoy, but I do. It's Avicii's signature song. There is a little bit of vocal, but it's Etta James from 1962!

What I like about Avicii's music (in addition to the fact that he wrote for just about every genre) is the subtlety of the transitions from one melody to the next.

I'm just seeing that nearly memorable piece from a movie score is being mentioned. I personally have my favorite TV and movie stuff from the 80s, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Miami Vice, Axel F (Beverly Hills Cop), etc. Also grew up with the theme from SWAT, which actually charted.

I can't claim Nestor as a friend, unfortunately, but he's a guy I know through DW. He has an interesting life story, and is an amazing musician. And he's a good guy -- just your everyday Puerto Rican, Buddhist, jazz flute-player. So here's a very familiar tune played in a manner you may have never heard.
