Favorite Guilty Pleasure on DCL

We are going on our very first cruise this coming Monday! So excited!!

We will be on Dream 4 night. Where is the Cove Cafe? Is my 6 yr old allowed in there? Or is it adult only coffee shop. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

It is supposed to be adult only.

Bummer!!! I guess I will have to make a quick run there alone for the free pastries. Where is it located on the Dream?
Well, I believe they also offer the same treats in Vista Cafe (starboard side deck 4). That's available to everyone.

But, to answer the question: Cove Cafe on the Dream is deck 11, forward.

I'm a little afraid of joining "the veranda club", I'm thinking there are camera's all around the outside of ship looking in......:scared:

One of my most awkward moments: when a fellow DISer I had cruised with and sat with at dinner (didn't know the family until the cruise) announced membership in the "club"...can't look at the cruise scrapbook dinner photos the same ever again...

In case anybody is wondering, this thread caused me to have to book another cruise lol. I decided I couldn't wait till September to try all the new things I didn't even realize were available onboard!

Some people just don't know the meaning of TMI....... :)

Just to clarify, the club "announcement" by my dinner mates was a post on the DIS boards in a thread dedicated just to the "logistics" of club membership...the post occurred after our cruise...
I am ok with TMI on the boards (if folks want to be that candid) ...one of the funniest threads ever (IMHO) on these boards was a "true confessions" thread...

If there ever was a need for a link, this would be a great one... :yay:

I actually thought the announcement was made at dinner... :rotfl2:

Also, loved the pirate buffet after the fireworks. I didn't know about it on our first cruise but tried it a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. They had a chicken wrap that was fantastic!

Pirate night buffet?!? We were on the Magic in January. Our Fireworks were at 8pm and there was no buffet. I feel so cheated. :(

Hopefully they will have that on the Fantasy in August.

My faves:

Grand Marnier Souffle (I skip soup and salad, have one entree and then two of these!)
Unlimited self serve ice cream
Having a leisurely breakfast on our aft veranda while pulling into port- nothing better!
Letting DD13 hang all day at Vibe while DH and I hang at the adults only pool and sip on Banana Cabana's all day...
