Favorite Guilty Pleasure Attraction...

Tomorrowland Transit Authority,

Personally I feel this is one of the most exciting and wonderful rides at all the parks. It's a great time to communicate with friends or family.. perfect for getting off your feet.. it has a great view of the park (well, my favorite part).. not to mention some of the attractions you past by are simply magical! :wizard:

I guess it's a guilty pleasure because everyone I know is amazed at how I can be thrilled to ride such an attraction. Like I said, it's an all time favorite for me. Not embarrassed to say so, either. But I'm happy to see a lot of people on here feel the same way I do :earboy2:

Carousel of Progress, and TTA

could go to disney and just do those 2 rides, and be happy! :goodvibes

Who remembers the old CoP song, "Now is the Best Time of Your Life" and "If You Had Wings" I still think of that song when passing through the "tunnel" near the end of Buzz Lightyear.

Mine would be Carousel of Progress and TTA at MK.
Spaceship Earth ride at Epcot (the version prior to this current one; before the ending was ruined).

Mine is the whole Magic Kingdom, DH cringes everytime we ask what park to go to, and I say MK!!! just my fav all around!

Mine is TTA - but our whole family LOVES it.

My other is Peter Pan. It is a must do for me.

For me: The Great Movie Ride
For DH: ToT
For DD1: Primeval Whirl
For DD2: COP

I love the TTA as well. We took my 80 year old mom a month ago to WDW. She had not been in some time. She noticed many rides gone or updated. I told her after we got on the TTA that they had added a large drop when you entered Space Mountain. She was terrified and gripped each side of the vehicle! I then told her I was kidding. This became our catch phrase on every ride like IASM, Pooh, Jungle Cruise, etc.. "they've added a big drop at the end, hold on Mom". :rotfl:

The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki,Tiki Room!

DH fell asleep in the Tiki room when he first went to WDW with me. But I love it. It just reminds me of being there when I was little.

Carousel of Progress is mine! I was so excited because last week my mother and I were the only ones on it. it made for a great chance to take pictures (I still didn't use a flash:angel:) and it was just neat to be the only one watching my favorite attraction. Also, The Country Bear Jamboree always makes me laugh but it was down for refurb while I was there.

I'm definitely a big fan of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. I still like the Wedway People Mover name better though! It's especially great at night, when you're going through the Space Mountain portion of the ride.

It wouldn't be Disney without Small World. Plus it's cool and relaxing, and I actually like the song (that's the guilt part lol)!

Carousel of Progress!! I went on it for the first time in Jan '08 and my boyfriend thought it was boring :( I thought it was a true classic and it really had the "Disney" feel to it. Personally, I didn't find it boring at all.

IASW and CoP -- I too did both of them at the World's Fair in 63 & 64. I love them and sneek on them as many times as I can. Also love Hall of Presidents (Mr. Lincoln from WF) and Peter Pan.

I bet everyone will laugh at me.... but I kind of love Maelstrom!

I insist on going on it every trip!

Oh lets see ;) :

Carousel of Progress
TTA
Hall Of Presidents
Ellens Energy Adventure
Living With The Land
Small World
Scary Adventures of Snow White
Backlot tour
Honey I Shrunk the Audience
Tiki Room
oh and probably some more that I just cant think of! :thumbsup2

Mine is Tomorrowland Transit Authority - I just love getting to sit back, relax and ride through Tomorrowland, especially at night! DH's would have to be Indiana Jones. Not that it's that lame, but I just wish that they would change the storyline more often so I sit through it bored as could be while he's on the edge of his seat.

We must do Small World and COP every trip! :thumbsup2

I've been trying to talk DW into going to DL again. In all honesty, I like it better than MK. I know we did the Alice in Wonderland ride, and perhaps we did ride Pinochio, and I'm just forgetting it. I know we did skip Indiana Jones, because, "we don't want to waste our time going to the stunt show that we can see at WDW", not realizing it is a ride at DL, and by many reports, perhaps DL's best.

Oh gosh, thats so sad! I dont want to make it worse, but Indy is just great. The queue, the ride, anyways. MAybe this will help convince DH. DCA is being completely redone, getting a new name in all likelihood too. Summer of 2010 will see them open the biggest, most expensive night time show Disney has anywhere, at DCA. A new cars ride too that is supposed to be a super improved test track kind of thing, as well as a new little mermaid ride that is just huge. There are about 4 or 5 other rides going in as well. I dont think they're going to hit that 2010 summer target for it all, but a lot of it. Grizzly river run is being re themed too. Basically that park is being completely re done, i cant wait, just with the addition of monsters inc and TSMM its already a lot better. The new parade there is probably the best in north america too.

Hopefully you get back! I usually go to WDW now, despite being on the west coast (VeryVERY far north) but went to DL this peak season in the summer, so many cheap hotels, got one last minute for 59 a night and it was literally across from the entrance, such a difference from WDW where you kinda have to stay onsite.
