Leaving in 2 weeks and making the pre-trip shopping list. Got the Disney necessities down: bandaids, ponchos, sunscreen, but what about snacks & food? Not on DDP & on a budget so I we're taking snacks and things for our room. I definitely have thought of powered drink packets for the park water, pop tarts and nutrigrain bars and even thought of microwavable things for resorts food court microwave, but I just know I'll think of something later & Be Like "Why didn't I think of that?!" So Dis'ers, what are some of you guys "to go" takealong food choices?

Flying or driving? I always bring a box of Drakes Coffee Cakes, Muffins, or doughnuts for a grab & go breakfast. Goldfish, pretzels, candy, & don't forget gum for the plane! If not renting a car I usually have garden grocer deliver things like soda, yogurt, milk, juice boxes, & alcohol :) Are you staying on Disney property? Moderate rooms & up have at least a mini fridge. You can rent one at the values. I always get a 6 or 8 pack of 16 oz bottles of soda to bring into the park, as anywhere they have cups and ice, they'll gladly give it to you for free!

Hmmmm... it depends. We drive so we pack up a lot. ;)

Waters, juice boxes, crystal lights & sodas/teas for our room.

I take snack packs of our faves like Oreo cakesters, cereal bars, Combos, Cheese-its, rice krispie treats, chex mix, cheese sticks, yogurts..... whatever each of us is most into at the time. I also bring along a bunch of apples & fresh fruit. It may only last for the first few days, but it's cheaper to bring our own & we're more likely to eat healthier if its right in front of us... especially in the mornings. I also pack some Fiber One snacks for DD & I because we tend to stray from a fiber-rich diet while we're on vacation, lol. We're fans of the cereals, bars & brownies alike. DD will even take the caramel flavored cereal in a baggie & eat it dry as a snack.

I bring my own alcohol too, along with whatever mixers I might be interested in. (Cranberry, red bull, etc. I'm a vodka drinker & like having a drink on vacation sometimes in the afternoon before we head out for dinner, etc.)

If Road Trip - Pringles, Nutragrain bars, Ice chest with dollar store snacks/drinks

If flight - Airport food, flying out of Baton Rouge so good food anytime of day in Louisiana

No matter if I bring my own food or not, I have to eat at 2 places in 2 parks. At AK, Yak and Yeti ( Rice with beef with sweet and sour sauce!!!!!!!!) and Prime time at Hollywood holy sweet jesus i love the brisket and to wash it down a PBJ milkshake mmmm.

PopTarts in the AM will do just fine, sandwiches everyday ( PBJ or simple turkey) for lunch and then PIZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA for dinner. lol just kidding... maybe but usually we spend the extra to eat at Planet Hollywood or Rain Forest Cafe'

We have a back pack cooler that works awesome.

I fly to WDW so I'm kind of limited in what to bring with me. I always bring homemade trail mix (mixed nuts, raisins, M&Ms, pretzels). I also bring those little "Jif to Go" peaut butter tubs, to pair with apple slices and celery sticks that I buy from the food court or CS restaurant. Makes for a fairly healthy snack. Also Goldfish crackers and those new Golfish cookies (chocolate are my favorite). All of these pack well and are easy to slip into a fanny pack or backpack.

I also bring cereal, and pair it with milk (bought at the resort gift shop) and fruit (bought at the resort food court) for breakfast.

I spend so much time in the parks that having a bunch of snacks and things in the room isn't necessary. In the past, we ended up throwing away so many snacks and things at the end of the trip, it just seemed wasteful. Part of the fun for me is to buy snacks at the parks (who wants to eat the same snacks that you can eat at home?)! I definitely budget for that.

We're driving so we have space. I thought about Cereal boxea & grabbing milk there. One of my party is anti-poptart (crazy I know) but he loves cereal. Jiff To Go is a fantastic idea. Thanks guys!

4c energy drink powders
Pepsi one
water bottles
granola bars for the kids, protein bars for me
small baggies with nut/fruit mixes
apples and peanut butter for breakfast
goldfish crackers
adult beverages for the room after the kids are sleeping
k-cups (we drive and bring the keurig!)
sometimes we will bring bagels or frozen (healthier) breakfast sandwiches
this time we're considering bringing the vitamix and frozen fruit and spinach, since I've been addicted to green smoothies, and I don't think there are any smoothies there!
