Favorite food? Bonus if it's not available at WDW!

I would love to hear your favorite things to eat and drink at DL/DCA/DTD. Snacks, counter service, table service. So far I KNOW we're eating the Monte Cristo and fries, a Matterhorn macaroon, hopefully, pumpkin beignets ( we'll be there next week), the beef skewer and tiger tail at Bengal BBQ and the lobster nachos at DCA. I'm actually thinking we may be disappointed by these as we are from New England. Please share you favorites and where we can get them

I get a chicken salad at French market. DH gets other stuff. Always good.

Agree! The tiger tail breadstick is very dry and tasteless. It looks good but it doesn't taste good.

The beef stew at the french market is really good, as is there chicken dinner plate. I love getting soft serve ice cream in DCA. If you go the soft serve cozy cone you can do it chocolate dipped. You must get a loaf of Boudin Sourdough in DCA, eat it plain or slathered with butter, you can't beat it. The vodka pomegranate lemonade at one of the cozy cones is also really good if you're wanting a refreshing alcoholic beverage.

Hand-dipped ice cream bars at Clarabelle's ice cream in DCA.
Ice cream sundaes at Ghirardelli and Boudin bread at Pacific Wharf Cafe, both in DCA, but obviously I can get those outside of DL too.
Fried chicken at Plaza Inn in DL.
Baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe in DL.
Cherry malt at Carnation Cafe in DL.
Cheddar garlic bagel twist at Maurice's Treats in DL.
Most of the entrees at French Market.
Double chocolate bread pudding at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DtD. I like most of the entrees I've tried at Brennan's but don't really have a favorite.

While not what I would call a favorite, I liked the cauliflower sandwich more than I expected to at Red Rose Tavern, so I have actually ordered it twice. The pasta with meatballs at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is the thing to get if you find yourself back there and you are a pasta fan, but the chicken fusilli is the way to go if you find yourself in Pizza Port at DL.

My favorite that ain't at WDW is the clam chowder bowl at Pacific Wharf in DCA. Especially on a cold evening, this really warms the soul.

Unfortunately, DL killed off the rest of my favorites. The fried tomato sandwich at Hungry Bear (over at Cafe Orleans for double the price), the Kraut Sausage on Pretzel bun at Village Haus, and everything at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. With all these gone, it really makes me miss my favorites at WDW.

The churros at DLR are FAR superior to the churros at WDW. We usually get them at the cart in front of the castle or the cart on the pier at CA...or both.

Don't miss that Monte Cristo! Carnation Cafe has a great potato soup.

I also love the Baked Potato soup at the Carnation Café. I actually just love sitting outside at the Carnation Café and people watching. The Pomme Frites at Café Orleans are delicious. And lastly the beef nachos at WhiteWater snacks.

I second the Mickey Beignets at the Mint Julep bar!! I missed them so much when I was at WDW, they are a staple of my favorite DL foods.

I second the Plaza Inn fried chicken and the corn dogs from Little Red Wagon. I grew up in SoCal and the fried chicken is some of the best around!

To clarify, a Tigger tail from Pooh Corner is not the same as a Tiger Tail at Bengal BBQ, which is what OP mentioned and people are saying to skip. The Bengal BBQ Tiger Tail is a breadstick. It is indeed quite dry.

You will likely be disappointed, since there is not much lobster. A good New England lobster roll contains enough lobster to make several orders of lobster nachos.

I love the Firecracker Duck Wings at Carthay Circle Restaurant, but only for people that love spicy food.
The recipe contains many spices, but Sriracha is the dominant ingredient.
The Carthay Manhattan is my favorite cocktail

The Bacon Mac n' Cheese in a bread cone at Cozy Cones in DCA. There are other varieties as well, but that's my favourite. I don't think they have any of those at WDW.
