I'm looking for a couple budget-friendly family restaurants OUTSIDE WDW. What are your favorites?

I'm feeding a family of 4, which includes 2 teenagers (who says girls don't eat much?). Sonic and Friendly's are already on our list. DH would like a good BBQ place, too. Anyone have an all-you-can-eat buffet which is good? If the restaurant has coupons, can you let me know where to find them, too?

Thanks!

I know there are several "upscale" all-you-can-eat places just outside WDW.

I havent been, but I have heard they are good. They arent dirt cheap, but you're getting better quality meat and seafood than you would get at a typical buffet.

I've heard that the Celebration Town Tavern (in Celebration) serves excellent food at more than reasonable prices. :)

Our family likes pizza. We go to Flipper's Pizza in the Crossroads shopping center every trip. This is the same shopping center with Goodings grocery store.

If you like Deli's, check out Toojays! Love their corned beef & matzoh ball soup! For pictures, check out the December "Live" link in my signature. We went the 1st night of our trip :thumbsup2 (also have the link to Toojays menu & locations in there as well)

Our usual places:
Budget:
Publix Deli, Qdoba, Whataburger, Panera Bread

Table Service, but still cheap compared to WDW:
BJ's Brewhouse, Bahama Breeze, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Chili's, Outback, Chevy's.

I bought some gift certificates during a big sale on Restaurants.com. I now have $25 gift certificates I bought for $2 a piece at various places around the Orlando/Kissimmee/Lake Buena Vista area. I figure if we use them, great it saved money. If we don't we're out $2!
The one I really want to check out is India Palace in Lake BV, I love Indian food. Plus I have an Italian place and a Japanese place.
Also check out Sweet Tomatoes. I heard it's a pretty good salad/soup etc buffet that's pretty tasty and cheap. Go to gardenfreshcorp.com and sign up for Club Veg, I get coupons all the time. I'm just waiting to get my new ones this week or next to print out and bring with me!
I have a folder I am sticking in my suitcase with my gift certificates printed out and Mapquest directions stapled to them.

Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes. Good, healthy food at reasonable prices.

Giordanno's Pizza. I think that's the name. BEST pizza! It was so good!

Some of our usuals are Fudruckers' for Grilled Burgers across from Downtown Disney in the Goodings Shopping Center, Also Logan's Roadhouse which has great Steaks, Soup, Appetizers and Adult drinks if you like that. They also have a Nut-E club that if you sign up online you can get $5 off coupons. I love their grilled Chicken Wings they come on a skewer. They also have great yeast rolls and peanuts before your meal. The tried and true Golden Corral Buffet is just across the street from the entrance to Celebration and they do Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffets for under $10 each. They usually have some form of steak on the bar after 4. Sometimes shrimp as well. We too love Sweet Tomatoes, however its salads, pastas and soups so if you are looking for Meat and Potatoes its a no go for a hungry bunch. Then of course at Downtown Disney we love Earl of Sandwich.

We love to go to Mimi's Cafe when we're down there! Always try to hit that place 2 to 3 times. They have DELICIOUS food & it's fairly reasonable & the portions are generous.

Someone else mentioned Celebration Tavern in the town of Celebration ~ excellent food. We also hit Golden Corral once in a while but I find that we always over eat at buffets so I try to avoid them.

I heard there is a Joe's Crab Shack close to there, their food looks good on their website- we're gonna try them when we go in June.

We're leaving tomorrow - any one else want to chime in with their favorite off-site budget-friendly family restaurant?

Logan's Roadhouse, just by Celebration on W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. There are some all over the country except in Oregon but we always find the value very very good. Maybe you have one by where you live but we don't so we LOVE going here when we go to WDW.

2 sodas, 2 entrees that include the main dish and your choice of two oversized sides comes to about $24 for us. You could easily split some of these meals because it's a lot of food.

It's a very filling meal and very good. Plus the bread is AWESOME!
