Favorite Epcot Restaurant

There's a decent ABC about a mile from DTD in the Winn Dixie plaza. Follow Hotel Plaza Blvd away from DTD to the end. Turn left on Apopka-Vineland, straight through the next light and it will a short ways up the road on your right.

Steer clear of Goodings @ Crossroads, unless you're bringing a wheelbarrow full of cash with you.

Lets see - we have frozen drinks at France and Mexico. We need something around the American Gardens or Italy - half way around the world is too far to go between alcoholic slushes.

Italy has a frozen slushy stand, both leaded and unleaded versions.

They serve food in Epcot???? Dang It's usually a Margarita in Mexico, a Sam Adams at the US, Sake in Japan, a little wine from France to get over the bridge, Beer in England, and Beer from Canada. I have to look a little harder next time :rolleyes1

I seem to remember pints being expensive at the trading post and quite frankly thats just not enough alcohol when you have 3 kids.

:rotfl2:

Now I'm confused. Is the pint not enough because you're giving it to the kids or is it all for you?

Since we're not a drinkers....and have two overactive boys...

I kinda like the idea of giving them a little nightcap while DH and I have a little P & Q. :lmao:

Thanks for the info on the Grey Goose Slushy machine - that is difinately on my radar now!!!!

On the restaurant question - we wanted to get Ressie's at Le Celliar but they aren't available so i made one's at Coral Reef and at Teppan Edo - i need to cancel one of them...

Which of those do any of you recommend if you had to pick between Teppan Edo and Coral Reef - note we have 1 DS-5 and he loves hibachi but we can get that anywhere - when do you get to eat in an aquarium?

thoughts?

THX.

Where can you get booze outside of Disney?
Are there ABC stores or do they sell it all the stores there?

Ok, I'm confused. In Alabama we have ABC stores, which stands for Alabama Beverage Control.

What is an ABC store in North Carolina?

We enjoy Biergarten for the food and the show, but more for the show.

We enjoy Rose & Crown for the food and Illuminations.

On our last trip...we enjoyed the counter service restaurant in France TWICE, and finally tried Le Cellier. Yummy!

Not exactly Epcot, but...we also enjoy Yachtsman's Steakhouse and Cape May Cafe at Y&BC resorts.

I had a great experience at Sunshine Seasons, or more of a nice save.
While looking for a table, a not so nice lady put her elbow through my Strawberry Shortcake. A cast member saw my look of  or maybe . Anyway, the CM went out of her way to replace it.

This is the ABC liquor store for Florida. And I believe they're only located throughout Florida. Which is kind of disappointing if you ask me. They're a great store with good prices. But I guess it's a bit more difficult keeping track of all the laws for each state, and the permits and stuff.

We ate at the Coral Reef once for Kari's birthday lunch. The manager there was really great and so was our server.

To surprise her, I brought all of her gifts into the park and proceeded to wrap them sitting outside the place. Security was laughing as I walked through with a wheelchair from the parking lot. But I had to right?
After I got done wrapping them all, I spoke with the manager about holding them till the next day and having them on the table when we sat down. He did just that, putting us right next to the tank, and put a ton of those little plastic dolphins all over the table. They even accomadated us, because Kari doesn't like regular cake, I went to Carvel just before and picked up her own Flounder ice cream cake. They put it in the freezer while we ate, and put on the little happy birthday chocolate banner and some candles before bringing it out.

I can't remember much about the food, although I did like it. But the whole experience was just so much fun. I even jumped when one of the really huge fish started swimming by really slowly from behind me. Nothing like looking over and seeing a fish as big as you staring at you. I think he was eyeing the great big Flounder sitting on the wrong side of the tank wall.

We even got to see a couple of the divers. I forget if they had signs or not. I've got some pictures floating around someplace.
