favorite Epcot resort?

If you are looking to rent DVC points the BWV is the cheapest. I just set up our BWV stay for September, the boardwalk view is the same cost as the BCV and if you get a standard view your looking at about 25-30% savings over the BCV.

In the end while the pool at BCV looks cool we love being able to sit on the patio at night and watching the performers down below and all the people going back and forth. As far as sound once we close the door we don't really hear anything on the boardwalk when we go to bed.

Also if you rent BWV - Studio - Standard view your looking at like $150 a night roughly during the slow period of September which is hard to beat for staying on site!

Hard hard decision picking one over the other...... Love them both.... BC is super close to Epcot.....5 min walk. 15 min bost ride to HS and has a great pool and Qs options. Movies on the beach ( although we can go to them while staying a BW too)

BW is awesome too.....the atmosphere is just really fun at night where the BC is pretty tame and relaxing.

But if you like to enjoy the pool pick the BC If you like hustle and bustle pick the BW or pick both and do a split stay like I do. We own DVC at the BLT and BW and always do a split stay as it just makes it so special to be so close to the parks.

If price were no object the Boardwalk for sure but I just don't see the value in paying that much for a room I'm just going to use to sleep. Because of that the only Epcot area resorts I've stayed at, and the only ones I'd even consider, are the Swan and Dolphin. I stayed for as low as $69/night and never paid more then $99/night. Can't get anywhere near that low at the other resorts there.

Wow... those are amazing prices! Can I ask which group rates you were able to tap into? I am a teacher as well as an AAA member. I'd be thrilled with a $99 rate!

I got that rate from someone who was a travel agent. They just gave me their price because I did some work for them. The teacher rate used to be down at $99/night but it might depend on what time of year you travel.

Beach Club!!! It's probably our fave resort all around (we are DVC...and AKV is up there too but BCV has the edge due to location).
