Favorite DVC resort?

Forgive me for being off-topic for a second, but I'm so relieved to see another family where DH and Wife disagree on favorite DVC resort.

So true. I am very particular about where I stay..... and my husband doesn't even remember the resorts 3 weeks after we leave Disney!

We stayed at BCV in Aug 2010, are staying there again this Aug. ..... I've described the resort, the pool, the parking lot, Beaches and Cream.... etc.... He has no idea what I'm talking about, none of it even rings a bell.

I love OKW and BLT.... for the resort, rooms.
But I love Boardwalk for the location.

the grand californian (its our home)
Beach club for the beach we have small kids and there is nothing better then that pool at this point
Bay Lake Tower - LOVED The commute, short walk and we were home

Did not like Wilderness lodge - it was pretty but maybe its because we live in the NW, dont need to see another pine tree The boat was hit and miss but better then the bus.

1.) OKW- ( We could live there)
2.) BCV- ( location,location,location)

OKW! Very happy with our decision to buy there when we joined two years ago. Resorts I am interested in if we decide to add on - AKV, VWL, BCV, BWV, Poly (it's got to happen one of these days, right??). Or maybe just more OKW points.

Overall our favorite is SSR with OKW right behind it.

However at certain times of the year we enjoy the other locations, except for BWV, which is the only DVC resort I can say I don't like.

Our favorite is BCV due to Stormalong Bay (since we always go in the summer).

1. VWL (me); AKV - Kidani Village (DH)
2. BCV (me); BCV (DH)
3. AKV - Kidani Village or Jambo House (me); VWL (DH)

All 3 are very dear to us and are practically tied for our affections. We also own at SSR but use those points at places like VB and VGC.

Neither of us liked BWV or OKW. DH does not like BLT although we are staying there for a few days in August in order to dine at the monorail resorts.

We love BCV for its location and SAB (we tend to eat a lot over in Epcot)
AKV is the best themed resort (IMHO) and is great when you want to get away from the crowd.

It's so hard to pick a favorite!!! Right now it's a tie between Beach Club and BLT. Love just strolling over to Epcot and Stormalong Bay. We love BLT because we just love being so close to MK - it makes us feel very disney to see the castle!!!

Oh and who can forget VWL!!!

1) blt you can walk to the MK
2) VWL you can boat to MK
3) bcv you can walk to Epcot
4) bwv you can walk to Studios

5) Okw it is lovely
6) AKV - love the animals and it is lovely
7) SSR - you can walk to DD

okay I love them all!

now my DB and his family - only OKW

For me it would be

1 - BWV for the location

2 - OKW for the large room and cheap point cost

3 - any other resort is alright with me

Have never stayed at the BCV and would like to try there just to try out the pool, so it has the potential to move onto my list as a preferred location.
