Favorite drink?

a lava flow is a strawberry daiquiri and pina colada together, they are OMG!! Most places make a pina colada and then add strawberry purree to it, but for some reasons disneys tasted much better. Watch out though, they catch up quick!!

I had this at DL Anaheim poolside at the Grand Californian. But they called them Pina CoLava. They are awesome!

What's the champagne table before dinner???:confused3 :lovestruc

Well I don't want to tell tales out of school, since we haven't sailed since 2006, but on our 4-night cruise they had a table set up in the atrium lobby where you could purchase champagne or champagne cocktails.

I hope they still have it, I've got my heart set on it ;)

Well that sounds like a good idea! :thumbsup2 Is that formal night?:lovestruc

Oh Konk kooler..hands down :drinking1 And yes..you can order them on the ship...I wouldnt swear to it...but it may have been the cause of my "splits" on the pool deck during pirate night festivities last cruise.:rolleyes1

I always start my cruise with a BBC! Yummy! And usually have one while at Castaway. The rest of the time, it's various martinis in the lounge before dinner. I tend to switch between Cosmos, sour apple and lemon drop martinis. Sheesh. Now I'm thirsty! :rotfl2:

The faiy tale champagne is a speciality bottle made exclusively for Disney. We had some at the Grand Floridian at Victoria & Alberts. We also saw some at the wine & food festival at Epcot. Not being a big fan of Champagne, I couldn't tell if it was any better or worse than other sparkling wines.

But they do have it onboard? Is it at Palo? Can you sample it somewhere or just buy it? I would imagine if it was at the GF it was very expensive. How much is a glass or a bottle? Dumb question, but is it pink? Anyone have a picture of the bottle?

You CAN order Konk Koolers on the ship (we did!). :cool1: It was my DBF's favorite drink and he can't stop talking about how we have to get back on that ship just to get a Konk Kooler. In funny news, the first time we had one on CC, we weren't sure if there was alcohol in it (but hey, it was good, so who cares). We sought out the ingredient list and found out that, oh boy, it sure does have alcohol. A lot of it! I think if I could have stomached two in a row (too sweet, heavy, to do so) I would have a rather hazy memory of CC.:goodvibes

Have Mark in the Cove Cafe on the Magic make you a banana cream martini, OMG!!!!! He does not disappoint!

From what I could tell...

banana vodka
creme de banana
light cream of some sort
whipped cream topping

Tasted just like a slice of banana cream pie.

I like the Konk koolers, but on our last cruise I was pretty much a Bahama Mama girl.

Drool!

As soon as I sit my butt down with a plate full of food at Topsiders & the waiter comes by with a tray full of Bahama Mamas and hands me one... woohoo I know my cruise has started! :drinking1

Great news. Still if you are ever on the Magic, and you are in Rockin Bar D at night, and Prince is one of the Bartenders, ask for a French Flag. It is a shot and it is good. I believe it is Grenadene on the bottom, in the middle, it is Grand ( I can not spell this one) Marnier, and Blu Curasou on top. Again sorry about the spelling.

Wow, this is a fun thread!!!:cool1:
