We will be going in March for the 1st time. I am guessing we will need a double? They are 3 and 7. I know for sure the 3 year old will. They both did fairly well at Dollywood without one but I know Disney walking is different. What is your favorite? Both kids are fairly tall.

We love the Graco Roomfor2, but the shade sucks. I wouldn't bring it in the summer time but it should be perfect in March.

I’d re-think a double. Just take a single for the 3 yo. Doubles are so big and bulky and add a ton of work for the parents.

With that age difference, I think the average 7 yo stamina not in a stroller will still out last a 3 yo with a stroller. You know your kids best, but I know one that at 5.5 and 6.5 years old hung in there just fine.

My double fits through the conveyor belt scanner at the airport. My single does not.

The sit-and-stand doubles aren't any bigger than most singles.

Citi mini GT double if the 7 year old is under 50lbs and you think they will actually use it a lot. Otherwise rent a single citi mini GT and let the kids trade off using the stroller. With a 3 year old you could also bring a toddler carrier with a single stroller just in case you have an extremely long day at the park.

Joovy Ultralight Caboose--it's a sit and stand with a max weigh limit of 100lbs total. Not much longer than a single stroller. I would pick one up used. The last time we used it at disney when my oldest turned 7 on the trip and my youngest was 4.5.

Make sure you get a rain cover for the stroller in case it rains. Never know. There are not many covered stroller parking areas in the WD World.

Whatever stroller that you get, make sure that you check the weight limit. Most are not made to carry bigger, heavier kids and can be very hard to push with that extra weight. Personally, I don't think buying a whole new double stroller is worth it for just your trip to WDW. Any good one that will take the weight of your older child is going to be pricey. I would go to the store and actually put your kids in the stroller, not only to see how they fit, but how easy you are able to push it.

Completely agree. Luckily there are a lot of stroller rental companies in Orlando. Most stroller rentals come with a rain cover and cup holders. I’ve rented citi mini single and double strollers many times in Orlando and found them very easy to push.

We went when our kids were 2 and 6 and rented a citi mini and it was fine - just bulky getting on and off the busses imo..... Now our kids are 10, 6 and 3 - we just bring a single chicco liteway stroller I believe it's called and mostly the youngest rides in it - when the 6 yr old gets tired then she takes a turn in it - worked out fine last year.

Most 7 year olds don't need a stroller. Since you will need one for the 3 year old, however, it doesn't hurt to have the extra seat. It can be used to store bags or toys if nothing else. I have two children and always rent a double City Mini GT. On occasion I took my older child (at age 5 and again at 6) alone to a park without his little brother and he did fine without a stroller. It's a nice respite from walking in the extreme summer heat. This summer we will have a new baby, so my oldest who will be 7 is going to have to walk!
