We just scrapped our brown derby reservation.....well not yet but I will tonight. I need ideas for dinner. We have kids so enjoy a kids menu but are paying out of pocket so we can be flexible.

Toy Story Pizza planet for counter:
Sci Fi for table service. They still serve the burgers at dinner if interested - just have to ask them for it.

Did you scrap Brown Derby because you didn't want a signature restaurant with high prices or that you chose not to do TS?

I can't think of a CS in HS that I can recommend, I would try to swith to Sci-Fi or Mama Melrose if you want to stay at HS ... if you have parkhoppers, ride the boat to Epcot and eat at a CS in world showcase, most of them are better than HS.

I don't think there is really any good counterservice at Hollywood Studios. Sure you could save money and go to Pizza Planet, but the noise and the money you will shell out in all the games is pretty offsetting. Or you can sit tehre and fight with your kids about not getting money for games, also not worth it IMO. I have had pleasant experiences at Mama Melroses and Sci-Fi. At Sci-Fi we just went the burgers and shakes route and they were good, the best part of that restaraunt is that it is very cool, dark, and quiet. We were in need of that during the day we were having there! We had great food at Mama's, thought everything we tried was very tasty and had great service!

I was wondering this too. We've tried ABC commissary 3 x's and really don't want to go back. Each time it was the worst counter service meal of the trip. Has anyone had anything good for counter service at DHS?

These would be our choices as well. They are the only 2 places that we really enjoy there
